Not durable not functional
Very hard to figure out how to put together even with directions (slide to side then flip) but when I went to use t, the knife ended up cutting the bamboo with the bread so I ended up having to throw out the slice I tried to make. Ended up discarding it because it was so unfunctional. Needs to be made out of a sturdier wood and maybe come with a knife that wont cut the product.

Not artisan friendly...
Well after shopping around I think these are all kinda made the same or even the same manufacture. So I was shocked to see target was the cheapest place to buy one. It works great, unfortunately not all artisan breads fit, So keep that in mind. Also thinking outside the box I thought of not lock in the sides to fit larger Bread in, well turns out you would need a custom longer knife for that longer than off the shelf bread knifes. So as for now unsliced country white bread loafs still are manually sliced at home….
