Description

WHY USE CURLSMITH SUPER SLIP PRE-BIOTIC PRIMER:
This Primer is a pre-wash detangling treatment suitable for all hair types. It protects the hair from the stripping effects of clarifying, detangling the strands and keeping hair soft and moisturized during washing.

HOW THE MAGIC HAPPENS:
Clarifying shampoos can feel a bit more stripping than regular cleansers, due to the higher level of cleansing ingredients they contain. Curlsmith Super-Slip Pre-Biotic Primer is a great solution to overcome this. It preps the hair before clarifying, as it creates a barrier that locks in moisture on the hair strands. This way you can detox the scalp without stripping away the moisture from your lengths.

WHAT MAKES CURLSMITH DIFFERENT:
Inspired by generations of homemade hair remedies, Curlsmith blends fresh curl-loving foods with kitchen cupboard staples and rare ingredients to make premium products that really work. The Primer is blended with stimulating Ginger Root, Wild Nettle and Fermented Rice Water, an ingredient used for centuries in Asia to keep hair long, strong, detangled and clean.

NO NASTIES:
All Curlsmith products have zero spoons of sulphates, silicones, mineral oils and phthalates. Plus they’re Vegan and Cruelty Free.

HOW TO USE:
Wet your hair thoroughly and apply on the scalp before your shampoo, gently massaging it in. While the pre-biotics are working, make your way down the hair lengths, finger detangling until you get rid of all the knots. Do not rinse out. Follow immediately with the Curlsmith Wash & Scrub Detox Pro-Biotic. The primer will protect your scalp while the shampoo clarifies it.

Spa Day for my Hair!

The trio used all together has been a wonderful spa day for my scalp and hair. I can’t recommend this enough. I initially bought the probiotic detox shampoo and used that without the super-slip pre-wash but boy what I difference it makes when you use both together. The pre-wash helps the detox shampoo really lather up nicely and gives the scalp a really good deep cleanse. It’s my favourite shampoo combo now - would highly recommend.

Disappointed

The @curlsmithUS really let me down changing the formula of the super slip pre wash 😤not to mention it's opaque cream that doesn't grip the hair now instead of it being the transparent viscous gel that coated my hair creating an ACTUAL slip that loosens any knot

Not for super curly hair

I have been slowly lightening my dark brown 3c curls and been dealing with a lot more tangles, so i figured id try this for some pre shampoo detangling. This wasn't the answer. It didnt have the slip i need to detangle my natural curls, felt more like a shampoo. Im sure it works great on those with less tangles and knots, it just wasn't effective enough to justify it. DivaCurls Wash Day Wonder works much better

I love this Pre-Wash Primer.

I love this Pre-Wash Primer. Ising it with the shampoo and the. Following up with the conditioner left my hair so clean and my scalp felt great. My only caution is to thoroughly read the directions as to how to use it properly. It should be left in through shampooing, I did not do that the first time and the results were obviously not as good. Excellent product!

Not what I thought

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really hopeful that this product was what it said, a pre shampoo to add slip to my hair to help with tangles. Unfortunately that's not what happened with my hair. Made the tangles worse, turning them into dry straw. Took 2x as much conditioner to detangle, and nearly a week of leave in conditioner to help treat and get my hair back to somewhat normal.
