Culturelle
It says vegetarian, but it contains fish and canola oil. I am plantbased and do not used fish. I am returning for the vegetarian no fish if you have . If not I would like my refund. Thanks

Dear Consumer, You may have selected the wrong product on the review or looking at the website. The Culturelle Ultimate Balance for Antibiotics actually does not contain fish. There is the Culturelle 3in1 Complete Probiotic, which contains Omega-3s and DOES contain fish. This may have been what you picked up instead, as they do look somewhat similar. Only experience
I was diagnosed with pneumonia after a abrupt stay of 3 days in the hospital that resulted also in three abscesses in my right lung. During the hospital stay I received antibiotics through IV every 6 hours. After being sent home I was given strong antibiotics to take every 12 hours. I am 3 weeks into those 6 weeks and have found the probiotics that I use to your company have started to really hurt my stomach. I have no prior experience, so I do not know if this is usual.

It should also be noted that we recommend spacing out the probiotics from the antibiotics, as the antibiotics may reduce the effects of the probiotics if taken too close together. Additionally, the stomach pain may also be related to the antibiotics. Great Product for Gut Stability
I bought this because I was put on an antibiotic and I didn’t want it to upset the stability of my gut. It worked so well I didn’t even notice that I was on an antibiotic. It was reasonably priced also.

Excellent recommendation for use with Antibiotics
Recently went through a health scare that involved 2 visits to ER, and a Hospital admit. IV antibiotics as well as 4 varieties of oral antibiotics. I was warned by doctors to prepare for severe gastro distress for weeks, advised to start probiotics immediately. I purchased this Culturelle "Ultimate Balance" at the recommendation of the pharmacist. Not once in the course of taking this product did I have the slightest sign of digestive/gastro distress. I was on a variety of antibiotics concurrently for 6 weeks, I never experienced a secondary side effect (As a woman, this includes other effects we are accustomed to experiencing when taking antibiotics). I believe my great success in recovery was due in great part to the supplemental aid provided by this product. Doctors were amazed with my recovery, I now continue daily intake using Culterelle "Daily Probiotic".
