BEST Cuisinart 4 Slice Metal Classic Toaster
Love this toaster. Yeah, I know it's "just a toaster", but this is my second go around with this particular toaster. The first one I had for over 20 years!!!! The push down lever broke due to something falling up against it. I was heartbroken! I was thrilled this model still existed -- had to buy again. Best toaster IMHO.

Not happy
Sadly does not cook evenly on both sides of the bread, not even close.

Gamechanger
Prior to purchasing this toaster, I had not used one since childhood. I'm not sure why I waited so long but the Cuisinart is a game changer! It warms up my toast perfect every time. My wife is also gluten free and most of her breads are frozen/stay in the freezer. This toaster has a defrost option, which is a super nice feature. I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

Terrible 4 slice toasters x2
The toaster was terrible, we returned it to Macy’s for a new, different brand. We actually returned two of them. The levers that you push down for the bread to stay in place, do not work.

Fine toaster but functions disappeared
Put function labels (defrost-bagel etc.) NEXT to the push buttons so labels don’t disappear after many button pushes.

Great toaster! Toasts evenly like a toaster should. It would be more useful if the power cord was longer. Not everyone had an outlet 2 feet from where they want to set up the toasting station.

4 slice toaster
This is our 2nd toaster. It is not as well made and it does not toast as well as our old one. It is very tinny sounding and appears to be cheaply made. Sorry we picked this model.

Works and functions as it should!
Good toaster. Slots are wide on top and it is easy to use. Only thing I would want to make a potential buyer aware of, is if you get the stainless steel and black color option...the black appears to be more of a dark gray in color and not as dark as the pics show on websites. If you are looking for a rich color black and trying to match this up with something in your kitchen...you may want to look at something different!

Quick and efficient toaster
This toaster does a very efficient job! So far, we haven't had an issue with the bread staying down as is mentioned in some other reviews. The bagel setting simply has the unit toasting longer and not just one side of the bagel. If you'd like a toaster to only toast one side. This one isn't for you. If I could change on thing it would be the length of the slots to better accommodate larger breads. Other than that, this is a very good toaster.

Great value for four -slot Cuisinart Toaster
The Cuisinart Toaster has an excellent price point among competing brands. Cuisinart is a name you can trust. This is my second four-slot Cuisinart toaster. I noted some differences which makes this experience different. The toaster lever must be softly lowered and held in the on position. Moving it down quickly will not engage the toaster. The lever will return to the up position. This creates a learning curve for the user. In all other respects it operates well with the same functionality including a selection for bagels and defrost.
