Q: It says the handles of the frying pans will not get hot because of the V shape handle attachment to the pan. What about the handles on the sides of pots and the handles on top of the glass lids… Will they get hot and require a pot holder?

A: Hello, Heat traveling into the lids and or the lids depends on the heat setting the cookware is being cooked on.

17 pc chefs classic Cuisinart cookware set
It is good so far, nothing sticks, handles don't get hot, now the tops can according to heat you cooking on but you don't need to cook on high with these, medium heat works great for cooking with these. Lots of sizes for all things to cook, Love the big skillets hard to find them that size in a set.

Buyer Beware
I got this set as a gift from my mother for Christmas less than 2 weeks ago and I went to use my 3 qt saucepan for the second time time and noticed it has a scratch where the non stick coating is completely gone and a ring around the pan from the lid. I am disappointed as I expected more from Cusinart. My last set of pots and pans were Rachel Ray and they were much more durable.

PERFECT
This cookware is exceptional. It is well constructed and provides even heating. It has just the right weight but I can easily lift it with my arthritis. I love it. I encourage you to try this cookware.

Bubbling finish
I won the 17 pc set for nurses week and my mid size stock pot and the large stock out finish are pbeginning to bubble! It's only 2 1/2 years old! I really love the set but am disappointed - I have never put them in the dishwasher

Horrible product DO NOT Buy
Horrible purchase, These have only been hand washed, dried and only used on glass cooktop for 3 months there is no reason why they should be falling apart like this.

Don’t purchase!
Unhappy and super disappointed with this purchase. Coating is pealing on almost all of the pieces and I don’t feel safe cooking with them as I’m not sure what is flaking into my food. I have only ever hand washed these. I wish I had gone with stainless steel instead. Cuisinart, any way you can help me?

Meeh I would NOT recommend
I purchased this 17 piece Nonstick set and the NON STICK material started coming off. I used wood and plastic utensil to keep from scratching the syrface and we have a glass top stove. 1st the bottoms started "de-coloring" as if we were deep frying everything and then started noticing swirls and then scratches inside the frying pans. I know everyday use BUT due to the trusted name and type of material, i thought these would last a lifetime. Love the name brand and even bought a Cuisinart 3 in 1 Stainless 5 burner grill. NOW that needs the internal burners replaced.

Shockingly Awful
I'm 62 and am comfortable enough to have a Cuisinart Kitchen before I retire. Big mistake! I bought the hard anodize (not likely) cookware set and the plating totally came off! The suggestion was to hand wash to keep pots looking nice but they got cloudy so I put in dishwasher thinking "they look terrible now so why not?" I am in engineering in a sheetmetal shop and have never had this happen. Someone is lying there. Sadly I am never buying another Cuisinart item ever. Fry pan did the same thing and had to get a coffeemaker replaced as well.

Sorry, not worth the $$
within the first 6mths of owning.. The exterior coating has bled off the pots and fry pans that I use most and one of the frying pans, cooking onions... alone, no oils... now that one pan everything sticks to the pan. FYI: I hand wash (Dawn Dish detergent) OR use dishwasher w/cascade.

Best cookware set on the market!
I first bought this set back in October of 2020, and have used it relentlessly. I recently gifted the set to my sister, and my husband just purchased a new set for me for our upcoming anniversary. I cannot stress enough how much I LOVE this set (I chose to purchase it again instead of getting the HexClad or Le Creuset sets). It has served our family faithfully and exceptionally - and it will continue to do so for many years!!

Non-Stick lasted less than a year
I make an omelette most morning and at first the 8" non-stick coating worked great. But now, less than a year after I purchased the set, eggs stick to pan, even though I use a fair amount of butter on the pan. The pan may have been in the dishwasher once or twice in the last year, mostly it is handwashed using a soft nylon brush and typical dishwashing soap. I tried to contact Cuisinart but the form required serial numbers, etc which do not apply to a set of pots and pans. I'll call them this week see if I can get warranty replacement.
