CTM Women's Leather 1 1/8 Inch Dress Belt

started to fray, too late to send it back. although it says "genuine leather", doesn't smell like that anymore....

I bought this belt in multiple colors to replace one I had previously purchased from Amazon that cost me $35 and only lasted a few months. I figured at a cost of around $10 each, if these CTM Target belts last a few months, that was fine. 1.) These belts are hard, stiff material - not like a smooth, supple leather. 2.) These belts only have 5 holes, and not 7 holes, like all other belts I have seen. This makes them a little less flexible in fit. From the sizing recommendations, I chose medium - which seems to be a little big for me with a waist @ around 29-30". The belt fits me better on low-mid rise pants; it is too big on pants that fit at my natural waist. I considered punching additional holes in these belts, but the holes that it comes with are kind of rectangular and stylized and I didn't think it would look right with the existing holes (it wouldn't match). Maybe I should have gotten the small size belts instead of medium - despite the recommendation in the item description to get the medium. 3.) These belts come in a lot of nice colors, which I like to match many outfits. Overall, I recommend these belts with the above considerations. I submitted a review yesterday, but it didn't get posted - maybe because I didn't recommend the belt. I will do that this time and see if this review gets posted or not.
