Really terrible quality

It is a beautiful display cabinet, you just have to be aware that the assembly will take time. I did it myself and it took 5 hours but I learned a lot on my first assembly - the holes on the back of the unit do not align correctly with the shelves and if you screw in where the hole is it will crack the shelf and it is not fixable as it’s mdf. I had this issue plus one door not aligning so I called the manufacturer and they sent me another unit (they offered to pick up the unit I was returning via UPS). I knew what I was looking for in my second assembly so did not screw the shelves to the backing, there are side brackets that stabilize and I’m not putting anything heavy on the shelves so it works. Now the doors were difficult to align so I installed them upside down, part I was now where part J is supposed to be in the instructions and the doors aligned perfectly, so I’m wondering if they were not marked correctly to begin with. All in all I’m really happy with my purchase.

This is a quality piece of furniture. It is heavy and very well made. We had it put together in about an hour. Everything fit where it was supposed to go! Only thing we had to do was modify the back panel to fit the stereo receiver (we forgot to measure that part when ordering!) but since the backing was a thick wood, it was easy to cut. No cardboard here! Very happy!

I really loved this piece of furniture and after reading the reviews I thought I would give it a try. I will say, it is EXTREMELY heavy to carry. It also took about 5 hours to put together with two people. When putting it together, some things didn’t line up correctly which made it difficult. We kept it and made it work, but I would maybe try to find something else if you don’t want to hassle.

I love how it can be dressed up or down. The glass exposure on the sides really opens up the cabinet to light so you don’t necessarily need to install little lights. It’s a very cute piece and fits perfectly for the space I was needing it in. This is something I will keep long term and was very happy with the overall integrity of the piece. Assembly was not the easiest, with two people it took about 2 hours. I was able to get the doors lined up well and am happy with how it turned out.

Love this cabinet! Very sturdy and well made. It’s heavy and the glass on the doors seem thick and solid. Very durable. I added a piece of wood on top to match my other furniture.

If I could give this zero stars I would. DO NOT PURCHASE. The worst piece I have received from Target/Studio McGee and I love all of their pieces. Just a disaster all around. Customer service has also been absolutely awful. Just save your time and energy and pick something else.

Took two people to lift and bring inside. Took me about 3hrs to put together. If you follow directions carefully, use the triangle to ensure all is aligned….and position furniture just like pictures, should all look great. So glad I didn’t pass up based on others who struggled. Looks high-end and only paid a fraction of what this cost other places. Very happy!

This tv stand is beautiful and it feels very sturdy as it has quite a bit of weight to it. I have a 58 inch tv on it for reference and I added a walnut gel stain to the inside wood panels and I think it elevates it and ties better with my decor style! Only con is the assembly process. Overall was not difficult but trying to align the doors perfectly was such a pain! We tried multiple times but could not close a gap between two of the doors. I have no idea how others managed to make them seamless.

Glad I didn’t listen to all the other horrible reviews. I went back and forth before ordering this and was so nervous based on other people’s comments. I took the risk and I’m so glad I did. This stand is just gorgeous and exactly what I was needing for my space. My husband had no problem putting it together and getting the door knobs to align. There are a couple minor flaws on the glass but target made it right for me, just by contacting them. I had to take the time to write this review because I feel that this product is very under-rated and unloved. LOVE, thanks target!

It is a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing console! Only thing really is that it was difficult to build, there should’ve been pre-made holes to screw in the pieces, a lot of manual. I would say it took me a total of 2 hours to build.

I love the look of this TV stand but assembly is difficult and the cabinet pieces don’t line up correctly. The top of the cabinet scratches easily, so be careful when putting it together.

End result looks great and very high-end. It is heavy and feels quite sturdy. I painted the back panel and wood shelves black prior to assembling and I love the final all black look. Also changed out the hardware. Assembly takes quite a while, maybe 4-5 hours but instructions are clear and it went together pretty easily. You will need a drill as there are no pilot holes on the bottom of the shelves but that was no big deal. I was able to get the doors almost perfect with a few adjustments after setting it upright. Overall I’m happy and think it’s a great value for the price if you’re willing to spend the time to assemble.

Disappointed in the product and the customer service. Half way into assembling this thing, and I realize the partition doesn’t have holes where it should in order to fasten the partition to the rest of the console. I reached out to customer service to explain this, and they told me to return it to a nearby target. After I’ve already wasted 2 hours putting it together, and the box it came in is in shambles (showed up like it was put through the ringer). No way that thing is getting back in there. Not to mention I had to unpack it at my door cause it was too heavy to lift. Theres no chance I could carry it to a store. I even just asked if I could get the defected part replaced and that wasn’t an option either. So, no replacement, no refund. Just a waste of $400. Don’t bother.

I think this piece is absolutely beautiful but I have a few issues with it. It has smudges and finger prints on the metal that you have to really work out which makes it hard to keep clean. At first I had the same issue as other reviewers with the knobs not lining up but was able to adjust the hinges and get it basically perfect. One of the doors hinges are too tight and so the door easily pops open which is rather annoying. Otherwise it feels very high end and was pretty easy to put together

This cabinet is great! Assemby went well with one other person assisting. As others mention, door alignment is a bit tricky but not impossible. We got the doors to align perfectly. Note to others - the floor levelers affect the doors! Once you have the cabinet in place, you may need to adjust the little knobs on the bottoms of each leg to ensure the doors remain aligned. Beautiful cabinet. I highly recomment.

It’s pretty but one of the parts was defective and the doors don’t align evenly. Will try to get past it.

I read the reviews before I bought this cabinet, so I already kind of knew what I was getting myself into when I dropped $400 on this cabinet. Everything was packaged pretty well, there were only a handful of parts that were bent, and they were all just brackets, so I could easily bend them back so it would go together nicely. The doors will pretty much guaranteed not go on perfectly aligned. The knobs aren't straight with one another. I was able to get them pretty close and manipulated them as best as I could to do so, but based on other reviews, I wasn't going to spend hours trying to make it perfect. There were a few scuffs on the metal, as well as on the bottom piece of wood. Thankfully the wood part is not visible as it faces the floor, but I did see tiny marks on the shelves that resembled that bottom piece. I think the worst part about the experience was waiting for parts. I got double of half of the parts, and none of the other half, so I was unable to put the doors on for about 2 weeks. I reached out to the manufacturer, and they were able to send me my missing parts so I could finish assembly. Overall, it's a beautiful cabinet and it looks wonderful in my space. It's HEAVY, and is definitely something you'd need a buddy for if you wanted to move it very far. I didn't think assembly was too bad, it just takes a good chunk of your afternoon. I don't think it's worth as much as it retails, and I probably wouldn't buy it again just because of the value compared to price, but it was my favorite out of everything else and checked the boxes for what I wanted.

The box arrived in a horrible condition. I could tell it was an open box. I wanted to open it and assemble it hoping that no part was missing. But as soon as I opened it I could already see a broken piece. It is unfortunate that they do not check these things before sending it. And that they do not warn that they are sending an open box and that the price corresponds to this type of product.

it’s definitely beautiful, and makes such a statement. However the doors knobs do not align properly, as some other reviews have stated (I was hoping it would be different for me). i was extremely careful with assembly and followed the instructions to the “t”..it took about 4 hrs because it is a complicated assembly. But even with being as fastidious as possible, there seems to be a flaw in the design. overall it’s nice. I will have to find a way to get those knobs to align though
