About the Author

Mike Baron is a prolific American comic book writer and novelist with a career spanning five decades and more than 1,000 published comic issues. He is the co-creator of the acclaimed independent science-fiction series Nexus (with artist Steve Rude) and the creator of Badger -- two of the defining independent comics of the 1980s. Baron served as the first writer on Marvel's ongoing The Punisher series, where he introduced the character Microchip, and he relaunched DC's The Flash in 1987, ushering Wally West into the mantle following Crisis on Infinite Earths. His additional credits span Batman, Deadman, Star Wars for Dark Horse, and dozens of other titles across virtually every major publisher. A two-time Eisner Award winner and Inkpot Award recipient, Baron has also written the Josh Pratt "Bad Road Rising" novel series and other prose fiction.
