Love them & prefer buying charcoal filters only
I have horrible neighbors who continually smoke in their apartment unit so that the cigarette smoke comes into my apartment. I have Asthma and cannot breathe in the smoke long periods of time so I had to buy both the Airmega Mighty and Airmega 200M. I switched out the regular Charcoal Filters and replaced with the "Intense Smoke" versions to remove the cigarette smoke. I vacuum regularly so that I do not have problems with dust or allergens so I do not wear out the HEPA filters as fast as the Charcoal Filters. Like another reviewer, I do wish I had the option to only buy the "Intense Smoke" charcoal filters since I only use the Air Purifiers for smoke only.

Great purifier
we bought this air purifier for our crane company office, so constant dirt everywhere, smells etc. and I must say it has worked perfectly. The smells are gone, love the timed settings so we can set it and it will turn itself off at the end of the day when we go home. Everyone is sneezing less. and the air just feels better in general. Our office is about 1200 sq. ft. I want to get one for my home when it goes on sale again. Highly recommend. Oh, and someone mentioned the light on it turned red a day or so after getting it, that's because it is detecting particle's just let it do its thing, it will go back to blue which means the air quality is good. Hope this helps.

Toxic Smell From Filters
The last two orders of these filters that I’ve received have smelled very toxic. Which tells me it’s been an ongoing issues for the last few years. I believe they’ve switched to a different adhesive than before. This causes the whole room to smell like burnt plastic for at least a week. Which is ironic because we buy these filters to improve air quality yet they seem to have the opposite effect.

Confused
I think that the product is great. I have used the Airmega continuously since we had the issue with Canadian smoke here in the Catskill Mountains of New York. But I cannot for the life of me get my head around when I should change the filters.

Life Saver!

Effective and easy to install.
Easy to install. Seems to be working just fine. Most of the time my unit runs at low speed. It speeds up when we cook and then settle down shortly afterwards. Removes pet odours effectively.

Filter doesn’t last
The custom filter, green allergy, lasted little over 3 months, instead of the 6 months. At this rate, I could buy a new unit. Don’t recommend.

Quality filter = Better life
I love my Coway air purifier. We smoke indoors and have pets, so we got the smoke HEPA filter to reduce the smoke in addition to having open windows + fans. It works very well and keeps the air clean. Friends who say they have cat allergies don't have any issues while they're over because there isn't dander around the air like there was. I love it and want to have it forever.

I have mixed feelings on my Coway air purifier. I never received instructions or a users manual with my purchase, and do need to guess on when to replace filters. Also, the light on top right sometimes switched from blue to deep pink. I have family members who were effected by fires in Southern California early this year, and one of them recommended Coway over another brand. I would hope to keep using mine!
