Best all over lips not as liner
This was not my favorite lip stain. It kind of goes on patchy or streaky if that makes sense. If you use it all over your lips and finish with a gloss I find the best result. I would try another color and give it another go.

Doesn’t Stay On 😕
This CoverGirl Lip Stain in the shade All-Star didn’t work for me at all. It doesn’t stay on my lips and pills almost immediately, making it uncomfortable and messy. I was really disappointed, especially since I expected a long-lasting lip stain. The color is lovely though.

So patchy
This lip stain is so patchy, it only sticks to certain parts of my lips and rolls off the rest when I try to put a gloss over top. The color is also not great, I got Natural Blush and it’s way darker and more purple than I expected. With how patchy it is, it literally just looks like I’ve been drinking red wine all night, not even close to looking like an intentional lip stain.

Great, all-day stain AND lip liner!
The Covergirl Outlast Lip Stains are a great, affordable option if you want to add color to your lips without having to constantly reapply or mess with any transfer. I find they are best for a base tint to put gloss on top or used as a lip liner that will stay put. When used alone & all over, it takes a while for them to completely dry down in order for there to be zero transfer but when they completely dry, they color isnt transferring at all, all day long! I do find they are a bit splotchy initially, when appled all-over but if you wipe it off & just utilize the base color-after staining, it looks fine. I love stains because I don't have much natural lip color, which washes me out but these definitely help with that! I love these for the staining aspect and especially as an all day lip liner!

Fantastic drug store item
I really like this product. I find the tip very easy to use even for amateurs. The formula is like a marker and once dried feels comfortable, like nothing is on the lips. It has long lasting wear and beautiful range of colors and shades but my only gripe is how it settles into any fine lines and dryness on your lips. I use it more of a lip liner to avoid this issue.

Super wearable, not super long lasting.
This product is so fun to use. I usually don’t like lipliner because it’s so heavy, but this is really different because it’s a lipstain it’s much more wearable. I will say that it’s not super long lasting since it’s basically not water resistant at all. Even just a sip of water can take a lot of it off, but it fades really nicely. I also love the color, it looks a lot like ‘your lips but better’. It doesn’t transfer, but it fades very quickly. All in all a very nice product for casual wear!

I really like the color and i feel like it lasts a good while. The thing is the marker tip is so big that i feel like it makes it super harsh. I usually have to smear it into my lip immeditately because it dries very quickly.

Not sure why it was so hyped up
Good color and did stain nicely when it went on but I feel like it already came so dry. Like I’ve barely used it 3 times and it’s so hard to put anything on because it’s basically already empty or dried out. I don’t know, I barely bought it and opened it. And didn’t seem like it was already opened before. So not really sure if I should try again or if there’s a way to make it moist again.

Lip stain
The application applying this lip stain is very easy. You shake it a little bit then you apply to lips and you’re ready all day. This lip stain is not transferability it last all day. It will stay on your lips 8 to 10 hours. The price is very affordable. The packaging is very sleek and it does not have a scent. I put this on in the morning. I work 8 to 10 our days! When I come home in the evening, you can still see the color on my lips for this product is so pigmented and the color really does stain so if you’re in the market for a new lip stain, definitely give this a try. It is one of my favorites.

Gorgeous color!
I absolutely love this lipstain! The color is gorgeous, it last all day! You can pair it up with a gloss and it will look lovely. I am definitely in need of more shades. It’s also very easy to apply!

Not color expected and not lasting
I had high hopes for this lip stain, but I was completely disappointed. I got the color Sugey Girl. I expected a nude pink, but it was more of a dark mauve. It wasn’t a bad color, just not what was advertised. It also lasted maybe an hour? As it came off, it left patchy color on my lips, which looks tacky. Cover Girl missed the mark on this one.

Vibrant color
It is very vibrant but I do not like how the pen tip and formula are different from the previous version of this product.
