Colors don’t match package
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colors of the lip stain don’t match the package they come in. The packages were a brownish nude and light pink but the actual colors are significantly different. The brownish nude comes out as a deep red shade and the light pink comes out dark pink. I like the shades but it definitely wasn’t what I expected when I applied them.

Not my thing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took two stars away because this product is sticky, and if your lips are even a tiny bit chapped, it sticks darker in the chapped spots and wears very unevenly. I honestly have never tried a lip stain before, but I love lipsticks, and will definitely be sticking with lipsticks, not lip stains.

Love Love Love these lips stains
Love these lip stains. I have a natural double lined lips and regular lipsticks and glosses bleed outside my lip line so stains are always my go to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is INSANELY pigmented and long wearing. It lasted more than a day for me through eating and drinking. I was able to remove it with a micellar water cleanser. This feels weightless and you can really build up the color to your liking. Highly recommend!

Not enough product on the applicator ?
Love the color and concept. However, even brand new by the time I line my lower lip, no more product comes out. Have been storing it upside down the entire time. Have to stop using it, turn it upside down for ten minutes before I can color another area. Takes me thirty minutes just to do my little lips! I’ve used it three times now. What gives ?

Patchy and darker than I expected.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lip stains are really tricky as a product, so I was apprehensive to try this. I have chronically chapped lips, but I made a point to baby my lips and wear nourishing balms to give this the best canvas to apply to just so I could give it a fair shot. Even with all the advanced prep, this was still hit-or-miss. It tended to settle in some places, giving a patchy finish, and overall was darker than I anticipated. However it looked pretty good with a nude gloss over top to even out the patchiness and depth of color. As for how it lasted, it certainly has longevity! It was still on my lips two days later, though much lighter. I could see this being more useful as a lip liner for someone like myself, but otherwise it’s not suitable for anyone with even slightly dry lips.

First tint!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using a lipstain and I'm impressed. I used the shade Iconic Darling to line my lips and the shade Blushed Mauve to fill them in waited the 60 seconds and wiped it off. The tint left behind was so pretty and the two shades blended very well! No transfer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cover girl pen style lip stain with a precision marker-like applicator it’s vegan and also cruelty free I believe in comes in five different tones cover girl outlast lip stain is a sign to last for a long time and resist transfer so it could be a little bit harder to remove. It also has a light scent but nothing too intense. The product is very light and slim more like a marker then a full lipstick it doesn’t Weight anything you can put it on your purse and you can take it everywhere without a problem. What I like most about this lip stain is that is very lightweight and not heavy or sticky on the lips it feels comfortable for every day wear, and it will stay in your lips for hours.

I was not expecting it to go on kind of like a marker for your lips and I really liked the way it was applied. The only issues are it is a little splotchy so you have to take care when putting it on, I do think because I haven’t used a product with a marker tip like application that may be due to user error versus a product issue. In the end I think it looked really pretty. Otherwise I did feel like it did dry my lips slightly, but nothing a little gloss or lip oil over the top can’t fix!

This is the best thing I’ve ever used

I’ve tried luxury/designer, mid tier, and drugstore lip liners and stains and this is my favorite. I’ve been wearing both shades for about a month now and am tempted to gatekeeper but it’s just too good not to share. I got a pink and then brownish shade which I mix but I also use the brown for a light eyeliner stain and fake freckles. It lasts me the day and I love it with my skin tone . It’s like a sharpie for your lips with makes it easy to apple for any skill level. I’m afraid I can no longer live without this. My only complaint…. I’ve used it so much it’s only really lasted me a month. It’s starting to get dry/ run out. People also keep complimenting me on it when I wear it out, asking if I got lip filler, which I didn’t. I’m obsessed!
