Sand box
There isn't a lid to close which I thought the wood came down over the sand. The thin cover doesn't stay on the corners of the sand box either. Definitely not worth what I paid for it.

Good size sandbox
Very easy to put together and you can smell the real wood when you open the box. Took about 45 minutes and a drill by myself. It's a good size too. Sometimes the pictures can be deceiving but this one's perfect size for my two year old.

great for the price!
Great and sturdy sandbox.. One of the pieces (#6) was not cut right so one side does not line up correctly..

Wood Sandbox with Canopy
This sandbox is very cute. My twin grandchildren love to play in it. It is very study. It is not super big, so it will fit in a small area. There is a nice canopy to help keep the sun off the little ones.

Play for hours
Sandbox is a great size- my 3 kids can all play in there together. We used 20 bags of sand to fill it for play. The bench seats don't feel super sturdy but hopeful that this will hold up for a long time. The cover is great and waterproof.

Kids love it
I gave this to my niece for her 1- and 4-year olds and they use it all the time. Her husband assembled it very easily.

Cute but CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!
Bought for the fact that it was very cute, small, had a cover/canopy and the safety edges. The material is CHEAP! The wood is flimsy, feels like something you can buy at a craft store like Micheal's. My 2 years got his finger caught in the edges that hold the canopy as the material fold in easily … again, cheap (as shown in video). Better off building your own for the price. Hard to assemble. Regret my purchase, as it was for my sons for 2nd birthday.

Starter Sandbox for Young Kids
I got this for a toddler who we thought would enjoy playing in the sand in the backyard with minimal mess. This works pretty well for that purpose, but does have some caveats. Assembly was pretty easy, although we did have to make some alterations and I added some support to the bottom. Secondly, this works best on a hard pad - I kept it on the concrete to support the weight of the sand in it without now being able to move it. The liner enables the water to drain from the sand if it gets wet, and the canopy does only a fair job at protecting the sand from the weather, mostly from animals and tree debris. Overall, I would suggest it if you want a small play area to be able to manage, but make sure you have the space and ability to keep this without really moving it as long as it's filled.

A lot of ways to improve
Hopeful but generally disappointed. We were looking for a sandbox type set up on a covered patio area for our kid's kinetic sand. I was planning on building one but ran across this and thought that would save me time. Not so much. First off, the assembly isn't overly difficult but the lack of pre drilled holes on some parts and not on others made for a bit of double checking to make sure it was square when building the base. The wood is cheap and very soft so drilling is easy but longevity I think will be an issue. After fussing with the base part I decided not to build out the canopy because this was going to be on our covered patio so it isn't necessary which I am glad about because it looks to be a pain to put together. So on to the lining. It's not very high quality. Think of the weed fabric you put down in your garden and thats what it is. But not the good stuff. It's pretty thin and I can't imagine it would hold up once the weight of sand is in there. So I opted not to use it and because there isn't an actual bottom I will have to craft something myself which means a trip to the lumber yard anyways. I plan to buy some thin plywood and craft a base board for it then will use plastic to line it. This should work fine because it won't be exposed to rain but if outside I wouldn't use plastic due to the inability for drainage. End of day...even for the low price the quality and general design just doesn't stack up. It would probably make for a decent store display item but for something kids are going to be rough with I can't imagine this holding up for any time.

Wonky
It would be an easy build but not all of the wood pieces line up as they should so you'll end up with screws that don't enter the right beams or splitting the wood. The final outcome seems okay for now but I'm apprehensive as to how long it'll last.

Great sandbox!
We bought this for our 2 kids because they love to play in the sand. We don't have our own yard, so we set it up in our lanai and it has been one of the greatest things we have for them. It is better to have it on grass, since the floor is uneven and the sand will slip out from the bottom and sides. But other than that, it has been great. I love you can "close it" by loweing the little roof and will keep unwanted visitors out. Good material, the little tarp is easy to clean when it gets green from all the water from rain etc. Lysol spray, a brush and some paper towels = good as new!
