Rough Finish and not comfortable

The arm rests are not sanded well and have very rough, square, edges and the surfaces (of all places) are NOT smooth to the touch. The paint/finish is rather low quality, with various lightly coated or missed areas. The seating surface is wide, sturdy and comfy' enough, however, the straight-back portion is VERY much "straight up" and flat and NOT comfortable against my back. If you want "decorations" for your porch, these will work like the cheapy chairs from the box stores. If you are looking for a comfortable rocking chair to relax in for extended periods KEEP LOOKING as these are not for that.

Beautiful Wood Rocker chair

The chairs are beautiful. Very simple to assemble. Beautiful rocker. Love the design and durability. comfortable to sit in. The seat is wide and supports larger individuals but the overall chair is not too large so it fit perfect on my porch. The arms are comfortable rests. It was not very difficult to put together. Great addition to any porch. Absolutely gorgeous beautiful in person. Great quality and comfortable to sit in. So happy with purchase.

Not for outdoor use, false description

Terrible chair. The angle of the back is very uncomfortable. I could not find a way to sit in the chair comfortably. The rockers are not smooth due to imperfections in the wood, so it does not rock smoothly. I got the teak color. It is stained wood and not sealed. It is not appropriate for outdoor use. The included instructions say to never get it wet and to avoid sunlight. This is sold as a porch chair! I disassembled the chair 10 minutes after putting it together only to find that it stained my shirt in that short time. I returned it the next day.

Great chairs

I was worried ordering these. It took about 45 minutes for me, a 73 year old woman to put each together. They are very sturdy and the finish is good. I use them everyday on my porch. I would recommend them.

Read before you decide to buy!

Read before you buy! I purchased a set of 2. I selected the "Natural", which appears to be the same color/finish as the chair that is used to highlight details about the chairs, such as having a "waterproof coating finish" that is "anti-rust" and "easy to clean". Except that when I received the chairs they are actually unfinished. Not only does the color not match (which you could attribute to screen difference) but it wasn't even sanded completely. The wood was rough enough to snag my clothes and catch a cloth. Once I sanded each chair and coated twice with stain/finish, the chairs are fine. But wish I would have known about all the time, work and supplies required to be able to actually use them before I decided to purchase. See the difference before and after in the picture.

Need replacement part

It came with a broken back rest broken. This is the picture of the part that is broken I need a replacement so I can put the other rocking chair together. I received the new part and the rocking chair is assembled. Very happy with them.

After modifications, it fits.

This chair is easy to assemble. Especially if you use an electric driver to turn the hex keyed bolts. The included hex wrench is very short. The chair was too tall for my short legs. Since buyer pays return shipping and the cost is about 70% of purchase price, I decided to shorten the chair legs. After learning how to do dowel joinery, I cut 2 inches off the legs and reassembled the chair. Now it fits my stature.

Love! They are comfy and fairly easy to assemble. The only thing I would mention is that if you purchase the 2-pack, expect 2 different boxes on 2 different days...our 2nd arrived 2 days after the 1st.

The price of this chair seems a lot cheaper than what i expect, but the durability and sturdiness of the chair seems very nice. Its a nice addition to the porch while relaxing. Im not sure how well coated the chair is but I would usually leave it indoors or out of direct sunlight
