Nice Chairs, but beware

I like these chairs (bought 4), but there were some scratches on all of them. The scratches were not bad enough to return the chairs. My husband covered the scratches with spray paint.

Comfortable but Poor Quality

They're comfortable but the quality is not good. I used covers for them in the winter and yet the paint came off and one of the chairs is unusable because one of the seat slats broke in half. The product description states that it holds over 300 pounds and we're well below the weight limit to have it break. No one who has sat in them comes close to the weight limit so it must be the quality. I liked the style and color. The color came off too quickly and I need to replace one of them after two summer seasons of use. I won't be buying this chair for a replacement.

Redrill holes

My husband had to re-drill holes because the holes didn’t line up on the chair. Somebody doesn’t know what they’re doing when they’re drilling holes.

Beautiful chair!

I was very pleasantly surprised at how well the chair was packaged and how easy to assemble the chair was ― less than 10 minutes….impossible to mess up. The quality was impressive ― we had considered the poly wood brand and ended up getting poly wood tables, but we found that they had more flashing and were generally lower quality than this one! Would recommend! No I need to go buy more of these chairs because everyone loves it

Needs improvement in manufacturing

Ordered 2 chairs. Wanted to return 2nd one still in the box after it took 90 minutes to assemble the 1st one because of mis aligned holes or improperly cut wooden pieces. Had to use a circular saw to shave about 1/8" to 1/4" off the ends of the two curved leg pieces to resolve the poor fit. Height of the seat at front is less than 14" which is perfect for those of us under about 5'8". I am 6'2" and with elderly knees, exiting the chair can be challenging. That said, the appearance of the chair is good and very comfortable once seated. The 2nd chair did not require shaving the wood to align holes, but it took some patience to fit/connect parts. Soft steel hardware prevents forcing pieces to thread correctly and avoid stripping with the slightly misaligned holes, so caution is advised.

wanted affordable Adirondack chairs that did not sit too low

I love ALMOST EVERYTHING about these chairs! Pros: seat height not too low, squared off top, ease to put together, packaging, look very expensive, I am very happy with my purchase Con: screws were missing, wood is not as thick as other Adirondack chairs I have purchased.
