the holes in the mesh are so big that the seed falls right through it and onto the ground- I bought a better feeder at Lowes and took this one down

This is much sturdier than I was expecting. I filled it with black oil sunflower seeds and suet nuggets. The birds are happy. It's easy to fill also and quite attractiv

This is a wonderful bird feeder! I love it so much! We had it up for a long time before the birds started to come to it and now, there are constantly birds on it. We hung it right in front of our living room window so that we can watch the birds. My sons also get a kick out of seeing the birds on it. It is made very nicely out of high quality materials. I think it is visually appealing. The color is very nice. It is a nice addition to our front yard. I highly recommend this one. We loved it so much that we bought another one for my mother in law.

Great for your little birds
It was such a great surprise to open and set up this bird feeder. Traditionally, my bird feeder is dominated by blue jays and squirrels, but this feeder does not support them. This allows all my little birds the opportunity to eat undisturbed. They seem quite happy with the feeder, and so am I.

Stops the English sparrows from wasting seeds
I have tube feeders and whenever I fill them up with sunflower seeds, English sparrows come over and dominate the feeder. They pull out the sunflower seeds looking for a opened seeds, wasting a lot of good seeds. I knew the English sparrows aren't able to grip anything at an odd angle too long, so I thought I'd give ball feeder a try. They are poor flyers and need to stand on something to feed. I'm happy to say that the ball feeder has worked very well! The ball feeder particularly attracts chickadees who can easily grip and hold the feeder. The fallen seeds have attracted mourning doves and cardinals who visit our backyard much more frequently now to look for seeds that have fallen.

At first glance I thought the seed would fall out or the birds couldn't get it out. But this thing works great!!! It is small but looks great hanging on the birdfeeder station i purchased. It is very colorful and makes the station look great.

I didn't know how sturdy this birdfeeder would be but it is very well made and so far has stayed like new. I've only used it this one winter so far, but expect it will stay nice for years to come. I looked at several similar feeders and I think this is one of the cutest, and easiest to use. The birds seem to love it, especially small birds. They empty it in just a few days. It looks so nice hanging from one of our shepherds hook poles where I can see it from my home office window. I think it would make a great gift for your fellow bird lovers.

Bird Feeder
I have grown to really love birds in my old age. Last year I had one of the stick on bird feeders on my bedroom window, and I really enjoyed it. This year I decided I would bought this product to treat various birds. The birds love it too. The shape of the product allows birds to relax their vigilance. I would highly recommend this product.
