Great tent for a family of four!
We have taken it on three trips and love it! Lots of space. Great for having breeze windows during the day and keeping out bugs. My husband and son were able to set it up quickly in 10 minutes. No issues with tearing the floor, but we did use the tarp. It kept us dry in the Florida rainstorms! Super easy to transport and take down.

Spacious, easy to install, perfect for family travel
We bought this tent for a family trip and it lived up to our expectations. The tent is spacious and can comfortably accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. It was very easy to set up, even for the first time. The tent is solid, zips smoothly and has good ventilation. Easy entry and a well-designed rain cover. Excellent value for money!

Easy to install, plenty of space
This tent was super easy and quick to put up; and even easier to pack down! We were able to easily fold it back into its original bag, which is usually a struggle. I'm 5'3" and I can fully stand in it, but only in certain spots and my head would scrape against the top of the tent. Large enough for 2-3 people without an airbed/crib/mat. I took my son on a Boy Scout trip as a single-person tent. I was able to fit my crib in it and still had plenty of room for my bag and a changing diaper. The only downside is that the window flap is on the outside, on the rain cover. So if you want to close it, you have to remember to close it before going inside. It looks like good quality, especially considering the price!

Great for beginners
This is a really great little tent. It's a basic tent, but has a little more headroom which is easier on my back. It's a 4 person tent, but I think you could fit 2 people in comfortably if you plan on using an air mattress and storing stuff inside. If you only have sleeping bags and a couple backpacks, it would be pretty comfortable for 4 people. It's pretty basic, no frills or fancy features, which is what I like. I've just gotten back into camping and this tent fits my needs perfectly. I think this tent would be a lovely one for beginners. The price is pretty good too. There's an open view out the top for stargazing, and a canopy if you choose to cover that as well. I found it fairly simple to set up, but this isn't my first tent. So far, I'm very happy with this tent.

Very good tent, lots of space
This is a really nice tent with lots of room. If you need a queen-sized air mattress, it will fit perfectly. The tent has a little over 5 feet of headroom and is 8 feet x 8 feet wide. It is very simple to set up. It takes about 3 minutes for two people to set up, but you don't need two people to do it. I was able to do it by myself in 10 minutes. The tent has a large mesh top for stargazing and a nice rain cover with a convenient zipper on the back. It even has a port for electrical devices like fans and lights if you use a solar generator. This is a great tent that is only a little over 8 pounds and is easier to take down than it is to set up. It folds up very easily and you can zip it up in your backpack! I love this tent and highly recommend it. At less than $80, it is a real steal.

love this tent, don't get me wrong! For a 4 person tent this is huge. It would probably take over 30 minutes to set up for 1 person, less than 10 for 2 people. 2 people can easily fit in with their gear, and the headroom is good. I love carrying 2 tents with me, and there is a folding canopy. This tent is just as good as my main tent in most ways, and the panoramic view is better. I love camping with this tent in places like the Grand Canyon Night Sky! That's why I removed a star. This tent is too heavy for hiking. It is lighter than my main tent, but that is for long trips, where we drive somewhere, not hike. The screen mesh is not as fine as my other tent. Only time will tell if this is a problem. You don't want any small insects to get through, including pinhead sized ticks or mosquitoes. The protection needs to be reapplied throughout, and the risks they pose. We will test this tent more seriously this year. But only for self-drive camping. Overall, it is easy to set up and take down, has a lot of space, and is well designed, including installed tent poles and panoramic views.

Convertible and versatile
From keeping out the sun to stargazing, this tent has it all. My wife and I are no longer able to go camping due to limited mobility, but we have a beautiful view of the Sacramento River and can now enjoy it year round. Setting up the tent takes less than 5 minutes and is very easy. The tent is light enough for backpacking, so carrying it is a breeze. Speaking of light, this tent also allows for full ventilation if you so desire. My wife and I set up a few chairs and a table to hold our USB powered air conditioning fan. The rain cover shielded my wife from the hot sun while providing great ventilation. Our dog Daphne loved the sleeping bag we had for her. The headroom really made the spacious tent feel even more spacious. At night, we flipped the cover off and had a full view of the stars. As for taking down the tent, it was even easier than setting it up. Maybe we'll get our power station out next week and watch some TV. I've owned a lot of tents and honestly, this is my favorite. It's a pleasure to carry, set up, and enjoy. The price is very reasonable considering the quality of the materials and design engineering. All of which makes this tent/spare room highly recommended.

Sturdy, a little tricky to install, heavier, spacious
spent a good half hour setting up this tent in my living room to make sure it didn't stink up. I hike and camp a lot. This is not a tent I would pack. It weighs nearly 10 pounds. There are better lightweight 4-person tent options. (kelty) Setup isn't very intuitive, but it has instructions sewn into the bag so you can figure it out. It would be much faster with two people. I'm a little concerned about bugs getting in because the mesh is larger than most tents I own. Might open wide enough to let in gnats or gnats or really small mosquitoes. Haven't tested that though. It has a built-in tarp which is cool. It's very roomy compared to most 4-person tents I own. My camping rule is to divide the number of people the tent is intended to hold by two. For example, a 4-person tent is for two people, a 2-person tent is for one, etc. This tent looks like it could easily hold three people without gear, or two with gear. It's easy to take down. Stuffing it back into the bag is a bit of a struggle. All in all, this tent looks fine, but I wouldn't pack it up unless you were using a horse, camel, or goat to carry it. Might be great for driving somewhere and setting up the tent next to your car...as long as bugs can't get into the tent netting.

Great for self-drive camping/non-backpacking trips
I've only used one- and two-person tents designed for backpacking, so I was a little skeptical about this large tent. It's too big to fit in a backpack or handbag, but it's very practical for two people and a dog at a campsite. Easy to set up and take down, well-made, beautifully designed, and spacious, this tent is ideal for both new and experienced campers.

We recently bought this tent and it's been such a delight, especially for the kids! They've had so much fun in it and it's quickly become their little paradise. We set it up on a breezy day in Barbados just before Easter and it came out just fine. It was super easy to set up - no fuss at all - and the tent was surprisingly spacious, giving the kids plenty of room to relax and play comfortably. The material feels very sturdy and durable, which is perfect for a windy day. The colors are nice and practical - it doesn't get dirty easily, so it's perfect for outdoor use. All in all, a great buy. Sturdy, fun, and the kids love it. Highly recommended!

Perfect tent!
This tent is amazing! It's about the size of a king bed and has a lot of room. We set it up and took a picture next to the king bed for comparison. It was quick and easy to set up - only took about 20 minutes for two people. Although it's advertised as accommodating 2-3 adults, I think it could easily fit 3 adults!! It would be a bit tight for 4 adults, but it's perfect for a group of 3. If you have a child in the tent, it can fit 4 people. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a tent this big! This tent is amazing! Can't wait to go camping next weekend and try it out!

Good value for money
For the price, this tent is pretty good! It folds down to a very small size and is very easy to set up. My seven year old nephew and I had it set up in just a few minutes. The tent itself feels a little cheap, and I haven't tested it to see if it will hold up to rain yet, so I can't attest to that. One thing I thought was odd was that the side windows open from the outside. Also, I'm not sure what the tent poles are made of, but they pricked me in little pieces, probably fiberglass. It's a good size for 2-3 people. Overall, I think it's a good value for the money for some small uses.

Super easy to open! I wanted a more compact tent that could be easily carried on my back and opened quickly. This tent was a little tricky to open at first, but once you learn it, it's just as easy to open as it is to close! The tent is big enough to comfortably fit 3 people, and 4 if needed.

We bought this tent for our recent camping adventure and loved it! It comes with its own tent box, is extremely easy to set up, and is spacious enough to comfortably fit two camping beds. The only two minor downsides are: 1. The size of the tent when packed down. This is not a great backpacking tent. It takes up quite a bit of space when folded up and stuffed into the tent cover. 2. When it comes time to pack up the tent, things get interesting. Let's just say, it takes practice. From a man to a man, now is not the time to prove you're a man. Don't try to figure it out on your own - just read the instructions or watch the video to make it easier! The tent itself is nice. Think about how you're going to use it before you decide to buy it.

costway Basics 2 Season 4 Person Tent
This tent is really only suitable for spring and summer use, as it is overly drafty and lacks shelter, making it less than ideal for winters in the Pacific Northwest. Other than that, it is reasonably priced and has a plug-in for solar panels on the outside of the tent to charge small devices/phones when needed.
