This TV stand is very attractive, and I like the minimal amount of processed wood content. The black metal is unobtrusive even in my mostly mission-style living room. It was pretty easy to set up but I had to get my (stronger) brother to get some of the screws in. I recommend assembling it upside down. The instructions have it right side up, which makes it hard to get the legs attached to the metal shelf since it's 2" raised. Putting the top shelf face down on the floor made it much easier to attach the legs and then we could more easily add the other 2 shelves. I used a pile of books to steady each shelf as we added it. Overall I'm pleased with this for the cost. My new 43" TV just fits on it.

OK, not great

The shelf looks just like the photos. It is relatively easy to assemble and the structure is pretty solid. The wood shelves are decent, but the top shelf is bowing slightly under the weight of my center stand TV, despite the TV being less than 1/3 of the rated weight for that shelf. The real flaw in this unit is the bottom wire shelf. Both the shelf and the frame for that shelf are really flimsy. While the shelf is rated for 70 lbs, it would sag considerably even approaching that weight. The wire shelf is really only good for light goods like remotes and game controllers.

The plug came completly apart upon opening.

My order got delivered and as I started to put it together, the plug completely came apart and I’m not an electrician and didn’t feel safe putting it on the stand so I just left it off. Luckly I have a wall outlet close to where I build my stand. Wish I could get another plug. Other than that it was ok.

Small and sturdy

The metal frame of this entertainment center provides structure throughout, unlike others where there are metal frames only at the sides and the middle is nothing but plywood sheets. This 27-inch Sony Trinitron weighs 99.6 pounds and is very easily supported by it. Note that this entertainment center is small and low to the ground. That is specifically what I wanted, but take care to measure. Nothing was missing and the instructions were reasonably clear.

Not measured correctly

This is the 2nd rv stand I purchased from Target.com and the first was had to be sent back and now this one has to be sent back. One of the screws won't screw in so it has to be a problem with the hole or the screw not being measured correctly. I'm so tired of having to pack things back up and carry the heavy item back to the store and reorder.

I received an Amazon returned item!!

I ordered this item from Target.com. I did get this item, but the packaging was retaped and damaged. It had no instructions what so ever in the box and all the corners on the wood sufaces are chipped off. I did however get an AMAZON return Authorization Slip inside the box. We figured out how to assemble by looking at the picture of this item and I will live with the corner issues because I bought it for our summer cabin and it is a hassle to get things here. thus I will not return it. Sloppy for a classy store like Target.

Pretty Cool Stand
