Sturdy and well constructed

We bought six of these chairs and a bench. They were fairly easy to assemble and they didn't get damaged in shipping. It's important to follow the instructions and not tighten all the bolts until the chairs are assembled. Once assembled, I tighten the screws slightly and have my wife sit on the chairs before I tighten the screws again. I had to loosen and tighten a few screws repeatedly to get them in place. That way we were able to get them all level. The only problem we had with leveling was the bench - it wouldn't level - it didn't adjust enough. We were able to live with it though - if you sat on it, you couldn't feel the uneven height. We did level the floor before installing it so we would have a flat surface to place the chairs on. The chairs are heavy and seem to be well made. I'm guessing it's a veneer on the real wood so it's not heirloom quality, but for the price it should last a long time since we don't have kids around, just my wife and I.
