Big Hoop

Better than we expected. Great quality basketball stand. Easy to install. Neighborhood kids use it more than we do and it's nice to see it being put to good use and having a blast. Highly recommended

Well built

Well made and has stood up to daily use by my son and most of the kids in the neighborhood. We have put several bags of concrete on the base since we are prone to severe storms and hurricanes and it has never fallen over once. It is also very easy for the kids to adjust the height.

It was harder to assemble than expected

Once assembled, this basketball stand is awesome. Three stars because the backboard assembly instructions were a little hard to follow. One of the large screws from part number "9" was missing, so we improvised with part numbers "10" and "11". It takes two people to assemble, so a table is recommended. Once assembled, it looks awesome!

Installation was a breeze! It took me about 30 minutes to set up, and the height adjustment is super easy. It works great for both kids and adults.

Great for family entertainment

I bought this basketball hoop for my 8 year old. It took a couple of us less than an hour to put it together. The instructions were easy to follow. The height is adjustable and my son was able to lower it easily. We were able to easily raise it to 10 feet for adult play. The basketball hoop is very sturdy. I filled the tank with water but plan to add a few sandbags in case of high winds. The basketball hoop is very sturdy and looks well made. I love it and enjoy playing on it every day. It is definitely worth the money and fun for the whole family.

Who sells a basketball hoop without a backboard!

This basketball hoop is not good. I guess now that I look at the picture closely it shows there’s no backboard but when buying a basketball hoop, don’t even think to look to see if there’s a backboard or not because it should be understood that there’s always a backboard. No matter who uses the basketball hoop, you’re always going to need a backboard for the ball to bounce off of or to use as a target Also, it’s adjustable, but they don’t even have any set holes at set height for you to put the screws into as you were just the height you’re supposed to just screw the screws tight to the inner tube which obviously isn’t secure enough so it keeps sliding down. Finally , when you fill the base with water or sand it’s still not strong enough to hold it up. Do not buy it! It’ll be better to buy any other backboard or even buy a used one off of marketplace, even better to find one on the curb that somebody’s throwing out than this
