Cheaply made but effectively scary when working
These are cheaply made and they do end up breaking at some point. There is a rubber band that always breaks in these animatronic Halloween characters. This is what makes the articulated movement work. There is a YouTube video about how to replace these with some simple small rubber bands - vid name is \"How to fix Halloween animatronics\" by the channel \'Mike Fixes Things\'. Mine broke and I had to do a self-repair so that it moved again along with the voice. If you have one and it starts making a clicking sound or otherwise stops moving but still makes sounds, you can fix it yourself! Just be careful when you open the box that houses the machine/battery - be gentle when you take the screws out and open up the box. You just need to open it up enough to see the two spindles that should have a rubber band around both (as demonstrated in the YouTube video). In this character, the two gears or spindles are on the left hand side of the battery box. (The broken rubber band will likely fall out when you open this btw.) Also, I\'m not sure if I did something to the sensor but I may have not set it back correctly because it seemed harder to set off after my rubber band replacement. Not sure if moving and taping the loose sensor inside before closing it back up would help with sensitivity. (It\'s a quarter sized disc with a hole on one side of it.) Otherwise, this is a funny and creepy character for your Halloween!

Love my old lady!
She is perfect! I especially like that there are no cords to deal with! Just batteries so I can move her in and out of the house to deter potential Halloween decoration thieves. lol (we are actually still deciding on where to put her once my other animated people arrive). I needed to add another zip tie to keep her hand from slipping off the other attached to the bowl and she is a little light weight and will likely fall over in a good gust of wind but we will tie her down or add a few sandbags. Overall, worth the money for some great Halloween fun!

Works Great
I put this in our little trail and he worked great. It'll go off just by walking past, touching, or making a loud noise. Very tall also

Addition to Our Halloween Decor!
I can't express how thrilled we are with our Halloween Animated Standing Greeter Old Lady with Candy Dish. This animatronic decoration has taken our Halloween decorating to a whole new level, and it's become the star of our spooky display. The pre-recorded creepy sounds and the glowing red eyes add an eerie atmosphere to our setup, setting the perfect mood for the holiday. It genuinely gives our guests chills when they approach. The candy dish is a brilliant touch, and it's a big hit with the trick-or-treaters. Overall, Five stars, no doubt!

Fantastic and fun Halloween prop!
We love this old hag! We named her Helga. She really is quite an addition to my Halloween Witch theme table. She will also be outside on the porch on Halloween night to help pass the candy. She is great spooking adults too. Hahaha!

She's ugly for sure
She was easy to put together. Her clothes has threads coming off it easily. She a great piece to my Halloween decorations.

Great Detail, Poor Construction
I just assembled this witch and turned it on...while her movement and voice is cool she is waaaaay too top heavy and immediately falls over when she lowers down to speak to kids. If you decide to keep the witch you will need to weigh down the base with a sandbag or something. Kind of disappointing.
