Comfortable without cushions, reasonably sturdy.

The assembly of the four chairs took a couple of hours. It would have taken longer without a powered fastener driver, and the time required per unit improved for me after having gone through the process of assembling the first one. Immediately after assembly, the chairs feel solid, and are quite comfortable without the need for cushions. I think that the use of stainless steel fasteners would increase the projected lifespan of these, and the additional cost of upgraded fasteners is something that I would have been willing to pay for. The shipped fasteners will eventually be subject to oxidation of the galvanized coating, and to the galvanic destruction of the cast aluminum seats, backs, and legs. I do understand that these are being sold into a price-sensitive market space, and that the quality as shipped is better than many of the other competitors' products in that space. A hardware upgrade to stainless fasteners would be an up-sale option which I would have paid for, however. Finally, though, the quality/price ratio is good, and I'm satisfied with the purchase. I hope to get many years of use from the chairs, and am looking forward to the end of problems of textile failures from even expensive outdoor chairs caused by sunlight and ozone.

Solid built chairs that won't rust

I've been looking and looking for comfortable aluminum chairs and these fit perfectly. We're tired of chairs with cushions that get wet and moldy, and these are great without cushions. They are also sturdy when sat in, no sway. Very impressed with the way they were packaged, each piece was carefully wrapped, and out of six chairs ordered, not one scratch on any of them.

Conflicting descriptions….

I ordered these chairs because they are described as being "all weather "and "rust proof". I asked the seller to confirm that they won't rust if left outside because I've read other people say these types of chairs often do, and was told not to put them in the rain! Obviously they will get rain on them if they are "outdoor" chairs. I'm not sure how they held up for other customers, but it seems like they are being falsely described and will rust or get ruined if they get wet.

It's beautiful, comfy and easy to assemble.

My husband assemled 4 chairs in 1 1/2 hour. The chairs blend right into our patio and are beautiful. The price is just right. I ordered 4 more to get ready with my party. I will add reviews after winter to share how it holds up after the rain and cold weather.
