Everything I need!

was a little unsure when I unpacked it because it was plastic. The plastic was heavy, but I couldn't see how it would hold up. I followed the instructions and slowly filled it with water, but the plastic base didn't budge. Because it was filled with water. It's just as resistant to drying out as plastic, and I can imagine it will hold up in the California sun for a long time, which seems incredible now. Endless summer is a great idea, but it starts to suck when you live in it! So, there's the umbrella, and a great base to hold it up. And it's affordable! I'm very happy with it.

Headwind

I bought this stand about a year ago. It was very easy to assemble. The empty stand is very light and has locking wheels for easy movement around the patio. We filled it with water the first summer but when it came time to store it for the winter we dumped the water out. It was difficult to get all the water out and it took a long time for the water to evaporate. This year we filled it with playground sand. Once filled with sand the base is very sturdy and holds up well to wind.

Affordable, high-performance, and versatile umbrella stand

was a little concerned when it arrived because the box was so light. My concerns were quickly put to rest. This stand is very sturdy, and for the price, it was easy to assemble. The washers and bolts on the bottom are much more secure than other stands I've used, and the design seems more stable. It's easy to move around because it's hollow. I considered waterproofing, and while I'm not sure if it's freeze-proof, I keep my umbrella stored in the winter anyway, so it's not a big deal to dump the water out and put it back in. I've had pretty strong winds and haven't had any issues, but if I do, I can upgrade the filler to sand.

Affordable price and good quality

You can fill it with sand or water; I used water. The frame has brakes to prevent it from moving. My frame went on smoothly and the fasteners ensured that it barely moved. Since the fasteners don't snap directly into the holes of the umbrella, there is still a little wiggle, but fasteners may vary from umbrella to umbrella.

Big and bold

I like the options of water, sand, or concrete. I chose water because I need to move it around a lot in the summer for shade when I have guests at backyard BBQs etc. Will buy again.

This base is awesome. I filled the base with water. It seems very sturdy. I like that the base can be easily moved before filling it with water. Once filled with water you can move it under a table and easily access the tube in the base like an umbrella pole.

Excellent removable and effective weighted umbrella stand

Great weighted umbrella stand. Very easy to fill with water and can handle a lot of weight. Other stands I've bought weren't heavy enough and still blew over with the umbrella open. Not with this one. Also, it has lockable wheels on the bottom so you can move it around wherever you want. I highly recommend.
