3 hours, 2 blisters, 1 clickety-clacking cabinet

FIRST OFF: It's heavy. The delivery service dropped it on my front deck in the pouring rain, so I rushed home to rescue it, and basically just rolled it end over end into my front entry. I unpackaged all the pieces from that location and organized them in my 'build area.' TIP: Use a powered drill to place all the screws because there are SO MANY. So so so many. I got blisters on two of my fingers. TIP TO THE ABOVE TIP: Be SUPER CAREFUL (gentle) with the powered drill because the pre-drilled holes are not great...some of the stand-off screws were visually quite crooked – which thankfully did not end up causing any trouble during final assembly – and the dark 'wood' coating tended to crack/fall apart around the screw holes. END RESULT: Everything miraculously lined up in the end. Give yourself time and space for cursing at the drawers when trying to place them in the cabinet. DO NOT think you are going to sneak items out of this cabinet, because the anti-tilt mechanisms associated with the drawers make a very audible 'click-clack' when opened or closed. WOULD I RECOMMEND: I'd honestly probably just buy two pre-assembled filing cabinets and slap a board over the top of them to create a much less frustrating version of this item.

What a great file cabinet!

I love this file cabinet! The two file drawers are large and deep. I bought two of these to replace two old cabinets, and they have changed the entire appearance of my work area because they are so nice looking as well as functional.

Nice filing cabinet

This filing cabinet is very nice, it feels solid and when put together it feels well built not lightweight and flimsy like some others are. The grey color is also very pretty it looks very nice in my home office.

Functional file cabinet

This file cabinet offers a lot of space for letter-size or legal-size document; the upper drawer can even be locked. It is a bit less sturdy than a metal file cabinet, but it looks much nicer, since it is made of wood. Assembly is not too difficult, since all the parts are labeled, and the instructions are clear.

Filing Cabinet

Great cabinet. Easy to put together. I used a little wood glue for some of the boards and used a little blue loc-tite for some of the fasteners to insure they do not come loose over time. The cabinet went together very well. I highly recommend this product .

Great cabinet

Here's the thing, it's a good starter filing cabinet. This was an upgrade for me, out of one of those plastic boxes that you carry by the handle. It's nothing to write home about, but it's not terrible by any means. It will definitely get the job done for me and will work until I gather enough files for a huge lavish filing cabinet that I can't yet afford
