Good luck filling with sand
The hole to fill with sand is not big enough to fill with sand even with a funnel if the sand has any moisture whatsoever.

Sturdy, but not enough weight.
The unit was easy to assemble, even for the guy who doesn't read instructions. I did return it, however because the drum, although plenty heavy gauged steel had too much weigh distribution per square inch, so it couldn't roll flat the surface intended. Only flaw is the drain hole is positioned such that it can't completely drain dry.

Exactly what I wanted - Good quality
This very reasonably priced roller came ready to assemble with all parts needed, and of good quality. It was easy to assemble and use. I just needed a couple of wrenches to tighten the screws. In using it, none of the screws loosened or fell out as some other reviews stated.
