Q: Aren't you canceling out the health benefits of the chemical free tampon by using a polypropylene applicator?

A: We don’t think so—the BPA-free plastic applicator is only in contact with the body briefly during insertion. Our priority is keeping the tampon itself as natural and chemical-free as possible, since it remains in the body longer and has closer contact with sensitive tissue. Hope this helps!

A: We share your passion for the environment as well, that's why our Cora packaging boxes are 100% recyclable. While our applicators are made of polypropylene, items contaminated with bodily fluids (blood) are not allowed into the recycling stream and should be properly disposed of in the trash. SUPER disappointed in the change of applicator. I’ve been using these for years, and have loved them until my most recent purchase. I would rather pay a little more and keep the same quality of product. Instead now I won’t be recommending these to anyone after literally YEARS of reccs.

Horrible Applicator
I wanted to like these so bad, however, these suck. I can never get the actual tampon to insert out if the applicator. There is no grip on these so they just sit there until you decide to keep trying or remove it and try a new one. Not to mention when actually Inserting it, I can feel the plastic poking me inside and it is painful. I am not new to tampons, I’d like to think I’m pretty experienced but these are just awful. Do not get for a beginner.

I have no idea what someone with a heavy flow who wants to use organic tampons is supposed to do because there are no good options. I need all super plus tampons, not half a box of “super” and neither kind work anyway. I am constantly having leaks. It’s also absurd how similar the colors are on the two types so it’s impossible to see which kind you’re grabbing in a rush. There’s no way women are in charge of creating these. 👎

Worst applicator ever
Worst tampons I’ve ever used. They don’t come out of the applicator correctly and stay stuck in the plastic when you try to remove the applicator after insertion. If I wanted to shove a tampon in with my finger I would have purchased OB brand. Awful.

Applicator does not applicate.
4 out of 5 times (that's probably generous) the applicator doesnt actually push the tampon out, so it ends up being a DIY OB tampon, but with a blunt edge, which is fun. 🙄 Aside from that, they're fine - i didnt notice an issue with absorbency or comfort. Can they please just hire someone from Tampax to design their applicator? I love the idea of using organic but I'll probably switch back due to the applicator not actually doing it's job!

These are utter garbage. Can’t even get them out of the applicator, so, literally the whole thing ends up in the garbage. Biggest waste of money ever. And if you can get one in it’s terribly uncomfortable.

Applicators do not work. Do not recommend.
I can’t believe I’m writing a tampon review but after being a lifelong Tampax user I thought I’d try the organic route. Every single tampon gets stuck inside the applicator causing the user (aka me) to have to use their finger like an OB tampon, which is obviously undesirable for a variety of reasons. 0/10 and would not recommend these for anyone.
