good but not for me

I am short (5'1 and about 130) this (M) dress was far too long for me even with heels on. It also doesn't hug my body the way I'd hoped. It would be great on a more curvy body type and definitely taller person like probably like 5'4-5'7? I thought about sizing down but I think even the small would be too long for me! Being short sucks when you're looking for clothes!!
