Leakproof but doesn’t stay hot
I have had a couple versions of this cup. I really like the sealing capabilities — the lid stays on tight and doesn’t leak at all. The insulation is a bit less than I would hope for. Coffee stays hot but not for a super long time. For the price, I think there are better choices.

Poor cap design
The lip of the cap protrudes too high and makes it difficult to place lips on it. The 2.0 version was the best and once again, some design team team decided to make a great product and make it bad. Oh well, will return the 3.0 and look for another brand. After 12 years of using contigo products, they have successful made their design worse and lost a longtime customer!

Lid leaks
I love Contigo mugs, but the lid leaks on this one. I bought it in June of 2025 and now the little leaks when I drink out of it. It seems like the seal has gone bad

Good but could be better.
I like this travel mug but it is hard to clean the spout and it does sometimes leak. When it comes to keeping your beverage hot or cold, it does a great job!

The only travel mug
The travel mug I recommend to everyone - leak-proof, easy to clean even when I lived in a dorm, trustworthy enough to throw in a backpack, and keeps liquids hot all day. The seal is my favorite to sip out of, because it doesn’t let me burn myself with too much too fast.

Leak proof, keeps my drink hot
I use my contigo travel mug every time I go to the office. I brew my coffee at 6am, and usually don’t drink it for at least 3 hours, and it’s still hot. I don’t need to worry about it leaking in my bag with the locking top. The lid is fairly easy to clean with the way it pops open. I’ve had it for years, and still going strong.

I've been using the West Loop travel mug for a few months now, and it's easily become my go-to for coffee on the move. The Autoseal lid is genuinely impressive—once you snap it shut, it’s leak-proof and spill-resistant even if it gets tossed around in a bag. I’ve accidentally left it on its side more than once, and not a single drop escaped. The insulation is solid too. My coffee stays hot for hours—seriously, if I pour it at 7am, it’s still warm by lunchtime. Same goes for cold drinks; ice lasts way longer than I expected. The one-handed operation is a huge plus. You just press the button to sip and it seals up automatically afterward, so there's no twisting or flipping needed. Only downside? It’s not the easiest to clean if you don’t have a dishwasher. The lid has a few small parts that can trap residue if you’re not thorough. But they do offer cleaning instructions, and it gets easier with routine.

Best travel mug
This is the best travel mug, it is leak proof with a locking feature so you can put in your bag and not be afraid that it will spill. The mug is durable and lasts for years. It is easy to clean the cap and cup part. The cup keeps my coffee hot from home to work with an 1.5 hour commute. So I can have a nice hot cup of coffee when I get to work.

Love the lock feature!
Contiguous stainless steel travel mug. Keeps cold Sri is cold and hot drinks hot. Fits easily in cup holder in car. Screw on lid with a lock button to lock or press to drink comes in several colors works great.

Won't let you down!
My Contigo bottle has been incredibly durable! It has withstood extensive use, from camping and hiking trips to daily use at work and countless drops by my energetic four-year-old. It's leak proof and considerably easy to clean. Remarkably, it continues to keep my hot drinks hot and my cold drinks cold.

No nos cansamos de usarlos por su durabilidad y confianza la tapa cierra perfecto no se derrama ni una gota nos gusta en particular este modelo ya hemos probado otros de la misma marca y nos hemos decepcionado nos encantan este por qué se mantiene aislado lo frío lo mantiene frío y lo caliente caliente la tapa no es tan fácil de limpiar de hecho si no lo haces bien se pueden acumular residuos en lugares de difícil acceso es fácil de transportar no ocupa mucho espacio cabe en los porta vasos de los carros en definitiva el mejor

Super convenient and keeps your coffee hot all day
It keeps your coffee hot for hours, and the Autoseal feature works perfectly, no spills, even when it's in my bag. It's so easy to use with one hand, which is a huge help when I'm on the move. On top of that, it's super easy to clean and looks great too!
