Avoid buying

Bought this due to the good reviews, which I'm admittedly confused by. Immediately on opening multiple boards were scuffed, and another piece where the particle board was already separating. Tried to overlook this, but immediately with assembling the first two pieces noted how flimsy the cam screw system was. Was not able to secure the screw in place, and screws were very quickly stripped. Also my item came with a bad, almost sour smell and this also caused me hesitation as it would have been for a small child to use. Returned immediately.

Beautiful and practical bookcase!

This bookcase is gorgeous. It's modern and sleek and so practical! We love the two different sides, the shelves can be used for stuffed animals and toys while the book slots can easily display books. Or in our case we are using the book slots for our younger kid's picture books, and the bookshelves for our older kid's thicker books. So glad we got this, it is really going to enhance their room and organize their books so beautifully! We are so excited to fill it up!
