Q: As this fit is up to 17 inches, is my 13 inch mattress to small which would result in excess fabric making bed look sloppy and sheet not having the tight military fit I did in the army?

Writing this review while trying to go to sleep on these sheets for the first night. These sheets are not cooling at all. They actually seem to be warmer than most and they are extremely scratchy. I don’t understand these reviews. I feel as if I received the wrong sheets?

The color is off-white, I have a fairly wide mattress and this sheet held up perfectly, great storage for the mattress, tight elastic band holds up well. Perfect Quality Comfort

They were a little stiff at first but I washed them twice before using and they are soft and fit like a dream. I haven't had to adjust or constantly tuck them in because they stay put once on the bed. Now that I've tried these I can't go back to any others. I'm sold

Sleeps Comfortably

Scratchy Sheets
I should’ve know better based on the price, but all the good reviews swayed me. These sheets are not crisp or cool. They are scratchy and feel every bit as cheap as they are. I washed them twice before putting on my bed, and still they’re rough. If you are a sheet snob, stay away. Target is wonderful though and gave me a refund.
