Poor quality
I’ve had this tent just over a year (out of warranty by a few months). I’ve used it 3 times. On the second time one of the tent poles twisted; I duct taped it but the roof pole doesn’t extend anymore. I just used it for the 3rd time; another pole twisted and broke off the little metal piece that snaps the extender pole in place. I was ok having 1 wonky pole but now I have 2! Not worth the money.

Only used once
The original model of the tent was awesome, so much so that we got the new one. The new one WONT STAND UP! Its caving in on its self.

Fast and swift easy tent set up
The easiest set up for one person. I use mine in all weather. I have had mine for 10 years very easy to transport and durable with comfort. My best tent in all my years of camping

Is this a tent or a hotel?
Okay this thing is huge. You can probably fit way more than 8 people or a whole bedroom. I was thinking about parking my car in it. It probably would fit. It's a great tent and easy to set up but you need to find a big open space for it.

Easy for the novice!
As a solo camper the first time I used this tent, it couldn't have been easier to set up and then take down several days later. I looked up several YouTubes about this tent before using it, and that was helpful! The size was perfect to use as a cabin style tent. Although the temperature was in the 90's during the days, the tent was comfortable during the nights because of the good ventilation and in fact that I put up a shade/rain tarp over the tent.

Major Disappointment – Fabric Leaks in Light Rain
I'm currently camping in this 8-person Coleman tent and unfortunately it's not holding up. It's been raining moderately — not heavy storms — and the tent is already leaking through the fabric itself, not just the seams. We're worried that if the rain picks up, the inside will be completely soaked. The product description made it seem like no additional rain fly was necessary, but that’s clearly not true. Meanwhile, the smaller 4-person Coleman tent we also brought is handling the rain just fine. It's frustrating that the larger, more expensive model actually performs worse in the same conditions. I’ll most likely be returning it after this trip. If you’re considering this tent, know that it absolutely needs additional waterproofing, and even then it may not hold up. I’d recommend looking at other options if you want something reliable for real-world camping.

Complete disappointment of instant tent design
Low quality and terrible design instant tent. As a repeat customer, who enjoyed previous instant 8 person tent for 10 years, I see that this tent was designe not engineers, but marketers and bean counters. No adequate ventilation during rainy weather, horrible entrance on one side with atrocious T-shaped zippers. All of this leads to moisture accumulation and water leaks.

😠😠 If the tent is white it will reflect the heat and make it Colder during the winter. They should have kept it brown on top and black on the bottom like it was before. 😡😡 My Wife and I got 1 that was brown on top and black on bottom, and that saved our lives in -10° weather.

Don’t purchase this tent.
Do not purchase this tent!!!! Took it out 2 time and each time something broke. First it was the elbow joint. The bolts broke on those. Second time the pole leg rotated and is now stuck inside itself. For the price of this product I thought u was going to get a quality product. Can’t find replacement parts this was a complete waste of money.

So far so good
Used it for the first time last week. Set up and take down is easy. One can do it but easiest with 2 people. Thankfully no rain, so not sure how it would have faired with that. Lots of room for a large queen air mattress and 2 people’s stuff. Will look into a rain tarp. It heats up inside the minute the sun comes up. I know it’s a tent but no temperature buffering. Cold outside, colder in the tent. Warm outside, hot in the tent.

2 weeks in. 9 days camping. 2 big rainstorms. Cream is too light. Sun is not blocked. Should be checkered or something to help prevent light coming in. Awnings for the windows so when it's raining you can open the windows to get air through. Room divider thought it was 2 separate rooms but doesn't seal anywhere so it's a curtain. Also curtain is cream should be dark to be able to put on ceiling and block light. Doors need one hand open and disappointed they are not magnetic.

Nice tent
We don’t use it much anymore just busy but it’s a great tent. I would say doesn’t sleep 8 comfortably maybe 5-6. But it is very sturdy and held up nicely in a rain storm. Is easy to put up and take down or about like most tents that size.

Twisted poles on top turned it into junk
I used this tent twice. The two top poles twisted and locked up. They wouldn’t release so I couldn’t fold it up as they were opposing poles attached to the top. I had to throw it away after using it only twice. I even removed the poles and tried to make them release. No luck . Heavy and only used it twice , only owned it less than a year.

Setup: The setup process was a breeze, taking just around 10 minutes with the help of a friend. The instructions were clear, and all the poles and stakes were included, making assembly hassle-free. Durability: Despite encountering some unexpected rain during our trip, the tent held up remarkably well. The WeatherTec system effectively kept us dry, with no leaks whatsoever. The tent also withstood moderate winds without any issues, providing a sturdy shelter throughout the night. Size and Comfort: I opted for the 4-person tent, and it provided ample space for two adults and our gear. The center height is also decent, allowing us to move around comfortably inside. Ventilation was excellent, thanks to the large windows and ground vent, which kept the interior well-ventilated even during hot weather. Portability: One of the highlights of this tent is its portability. It packs down into a compact size and fits easily into the included carrying bag, making it convenient to transport to and from the campsite. A great tent!
This tent has been amazing all around to own and go camping with. I have had my family and friends stay with me in this tent and it was nice and spaced out, and never too crowded. I love how easy it was to put up, and had it up in just minutes which made me happy. I like the material, it is nice and quality and feels solid when it is put up.

Instructions please
First look up instructions/videos. The instructions are basically reminders. I would suggest setting it up and taking it down before the trip. Putting it up wasn't as bad as trying to get it back together. That being said it's VERY nice. I love the 2 entrances at each end, the divider in the middle to make two room if you choose and all the windows. It seems to be sturdy. I'm excited for the many adventures ahead with my new Coleman 8-person instant tent.
