Coleman 13'x15' Back Home Screened Shelter Canopy Tent

This is a huge tent that even when it is not fully extended I can stand up in and im 5'8. Now i set up this tent on a patio area so i could not use stakes in the ground. I used boat cover straps that can be tighted and dumbbells to crisscross over the top and keep it on the earth. This worked for months. It did end up getting damaged when left out in a sudden thunderstorm- but just a small tear and a little bending of one of the arms. This is great if you set it up right. Be warned at the time of writing 8/2025 they do not sell replacement covers or extra walls for this tent.

I have purchased this tent 4 or 5 times over the years. They changed the design and not for the better. It rained and there was no place for the water to go so it caved in and broke the supporting arms. I only used it ONCE....so disappointment.

This was fairly easy to setup and worked well to provide shelter but after 2 months in one location wi the out much rain it developed holes where the top rested on the pieces of the frame that form peaks between each post.

I have put this screen out up 3 different times according to the instructions. After mild wind and rain it has come down each time causing damage to the structure. Expensive screen house very dissatisfied. I have had this item less than a month. Purchased for my husband to be able to enjoy being outside as he recovers from heart surgery. It appears to be defective. I would like a replacement or refund for this product

Love this screen room. Spent a week on the lake and was able to spend the entire time enjoying the weather without the bugs. Best purchase ever !

I like that it is very easy to set up. It will never replace the Coleman I believe the 20ft x 10ft screen house that we had for many years until the last storm we had while camping took a toll on it. If Coleman comes out with that on again then I will be the first in line to purchase it as it's was very roomy with a 12 ft picnic table.

This canopy was a birthday gift and i love the size of it, because I have a big family. Set up went fine but the next day we had some light rain and the canopy completely broke!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This screen tent is huge! Reading the size is one thing, but actually having it set up is another! I initially set this up by myself, which seemed intimidating at first, but was extremely easy. Set up took about 15 minutes. This screen tent provided a great amount of shade while camping and kept the bugs away while dining. I love that there are two different doors so you can let air flow through, which being a screen tent sounds a little strange, but it is true. It was very easy to take down and pack up. Everything fit back in the rolling bag perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Coleman backhome screen house is great. The size was perfect for our backyard. The set up took two people but was fast and easy. It is large enough for a table inside and still room for more. It keeps you free of bugs. It keeps you dry in the rain too. One thing about it though is it keeps the heat in so the summer it gets a little hot in there, but I am sure in the fall it will be amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get the screen house for camping. We go with a big group and we are outside rain or shine. Well of course it was raining on our camping trip so we all huddled up under the screen and played cards. I think it was really easy to put up and take down. It had the one push in the middle that made it simple. There is also the no pinching for both set up and take down. I do wish the zipper seemed a little more durable. It was a little difficult to open the zipper with one hand. One thing would be great if we could get a couple added pieces to block some rain or sun but a tarp did the job instead.

It comes in handy for family get together or overall to keep bugs out. I love it as I am able to put a small table and chair in to sit any food in to keep the bugs out. It definitely a nice item to have around. Very easy to out together and very sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice screened in tent. The bag that it comes in has wheels so it was easy to get it where I wanted to put it up at. Putting the tent up was also easy. The tent is set on the ground and pulled apart a bit. Then you push the top up into place with the large button on the inside of the tent. After that the legs are extended and then finally I hammered in the stakes so it wouldn't blow away. I have left this tent up through two rainstorms now and it has held up just fine. Definitely a good quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently picked up this screen house, had used it for July 4th holiday. It is not a screen tent, they mean it when they say house. I was able to fit an 8ft. long banquet table , 2 card tables , a baby portable crib and of course chairs. It still had enough room for everyone to fit comfortably. The set up was relatively easy, even with it being so big. I love this. It will be used often.

I got the 15 X 13 which is perfect. It is really easy to put up by just one push. It is in a wheeled carry bag so it is also easy to pack. It has two entryways and fits over a picnic table. It really does keep the bugs out. If your looking g for a screen canopy tent I recommend this one, it really is great!!!

The instructions were clear and to the point and it took minimal time. Once set up the quality I'd great! The material is durable and made well. With s mesh so bugs can get in easily. We've left it up using for barbecues or even just to hang out un the backyard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping to use this when my family goes camping, and I’ve been able to but it’s incredibly heavy and hard to store when it’s broken down. I think this screen house would be best for a back yard or back porch or seasonal campsite. It’s time consuming to put up and break down, and difficult to move around (when broken down) because of its weight. It’s an amazing screen house though, that’s for sure! The material is thick and feels high quality. The screens are also thick but have small enough holes that even the smallest of flying bugs can’t get in. There is no vent in the top where bugs can get in (like there are with other brand’s screen houses). The zippers are rugged and don’t get caught in the material. All that quality stuff just makes it super heavy. I’d guess it weighs about 150lbs. But that also means that it’s sturdy and won’t blow away when a bat farts. If you want to travel with a screen house, like for camping or other outdoor activities, this might not be the screen house for you. But if you want a somewhat permanent screen house then definitely get this. Coleman has always been known for quality outdoor gear but they pulled out all the stops for this one!!
