About the Author
Laurie Ann Callihan, Ph.D., received her graduate degree in Science Education from Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. She also holds a B.S. in Biology from Christian Heritage College, El Cajon, California.
She was a 2009 University Fellow of Florida State University for the School of Teacher Education. Dr. Callihan has fifteen years of classroom science teaching experience with expertise in content delivery of natural sciences, curriculum development, and teaching in diverse classroom settings. She is the author of a variety of curricula, books, and academic materials in the K-20 science venue.
