I am a month postpartum and have a wedding to attend/a couple parties. This is perfect for nursing/pumping. I don’t have a bump anymore, and this doesn’t look like a maternity gown. I think the fit is very flattering for a postpartum mom. I am 5’4” and this (L) comes to my knees. I think if you have a bump or are taller it would come just above the knee depending on your height. I am really happy with the purchase. My only reason for four stars is because the fabric is not high quality, but it is also not sheer. At this price, I would not expect high quality velvet. The fit is true to size.
