A: Hi, Iris. Thank you for your question! The 16 oz jar of Cetaphil® Soothing Gel Cream includes a clear tamper evident flap that is an extension of the label onto the lid. This flap should be intact and separate when the lid is removed. There is no additional seal on the tube or the packaging of the 8 oz or 3 oz tube, other than the flip cap. Thank you!

The Absolute Best Cream for Dry Skin!
I found this to be the most soothing, moisturizing cream that Cetaphil makes, and I LOVE it! However, it is getting more difficult to find in stores and even to order online. I do hope that some Corporate suit is not thinking of discontinuing this fabulous product! Keep production up, and in fact, increase production and availability. This is one of your best formulated products! Don't make it hard to get!

Fragrance Smells Really Bad
This product states Fragrance Free, but it does have a fragrance, and it smells so bad! I sadly purchased 3, and after the first smelled so bad, I thought maybe it was just the one, so I opened a 2nd one, and it smelled just as bad.

Simple but great moisturizer
Really enjoyed this product!! I love using Cetaphil for my sensitive skin because of the short ingredient list and no fragrance or weird smells. I haven’t used this on my face but i definitely love using it on my body especially in the summertime. And affordable!!

Best Facial Moisturizer!
I have been using this product as a facial moisturizer for years. It is the only one I’ve found that prevents dry skin for me. My previous moisturizer from another brand was discontinued, and someone recommended I try this one. I have tried it on my hands, and I wouldn’t personally recommend it as a hand cream. It does have a sticky, greasy feeling for that use. However, for my face it’s perfect…especially for winter! Like other reviewers, I do wish it was offered in a smaller tube…if nothing else than for travel purposes. I am jealous of these pictures of the 3 oz. samples people received when it was new. The tub takes up quite a bit of room. It’s definitely not convenient to tote the it around when traveling or also having to find something else smaller to put it in. However, the tub is definitely a good value for the amount you get!

I was trying to find a cream that compared to the Cerave SA cream because I am trying to save some money. It is definitely more runny but nevertheless gave me the same results I was looking for. The thing about Cerave is that it gave me a protective barrier which is why it made my skin feel soft. But with the Cetaphil itself dosen't coat my skin, instead it hydrates and uses my own skin to get that same exact feeling. Also this Cetaphil cream beats any normal lotions out there which I am trying to avoid for my super dry skin.

Thin texture, cooling, but allergic
I liked this moisturizer the first couple of times I tried it. It felt cooling, hydrating, and nice on the skin. The texture was quite watery. However, it has started to burn my skin and give me immediate bumps all over my face with redness after application. For reference, I have dry, sensitive skin. I have been mostly using cetaphil products the last few years as both cerave and vanicream cause issues. Specifically, cerave burns and leaves my face tight and dry. Vanicream makes my skin dry, itchy, and flaky.

I love that this product is an all-over-body gel which would be fantastic to wear during the day! I love the ingredient mix of humectants and emollients!I wish it contained ceramides and panthenol though. However,I don't buy skin products packaged in tubs because I hate dipping my fingers in the remaining product over and over again.Doesn't this encourage bacterial growth?
