Q: How do you get the shade to stay on? What am I missing? The harp does not have a way to hook anything. It has two metal arms coming down from the finial, but they are too wide for around lamp base.

A: Also, the shade seems to not come off. The round knob at the top seems permanent…..does not unscrew or come off! I could get a lightbulb to screw in after some trying .

Love the size, style and color of this little lamp. Unfortunately the lamp shade has little value due to the paper material and accordion style. Received it with other items in bag to which it got beat up and shade lost shape and no longer useful. I tried putting back together it no luck. Bottom line: lamp beautiful & can be used anywhere. Shade - pass on the paper shade, too delicate but is a pretty color and concept. Unless $9.99 or less buy it and change out lamp shade.
