About the Author

Lucy Brownridge is an award-winning children's book author and editor from London, UK. She studied History of Art at the University of Bristol and holds an MA from the Courtauld Institute of Art. Lucy writes thoughtful, engaging books that spark curiosity about the world and celebrate connection, cooperation, and care for others. Her titles include Little Tree and the Wood Wide Web, winner of the 2024 Giverny Award, What Are You Doing Today, Mother Nature?, The Fantastical Safari, and the Cat Family series, which has been translated into 16 languages.

Eunyoung Seo is an illustrator from South Korea. She worked as a graphic designer for 9 years in Korea before moving to Edinburgh to complete a degree in illustration.
