Carson Forge Lift-Top Coffee Table: Sauder, Hidden Storage, Wrought-Iron Accents

Since it's very first day and assembly… The turn, screw plates or whatever they're called kept on coming loose… Making the table unstable.

Love the look and how sturdy this table is. No worries about how will last or that screws will fall out randomlu

Love the storage and the desk options. My house is small so any time something does double duty I am for it!

Assembly was straightforward and relatively easy. Time will tell if the thin moldings will hold up over time. The installation of these moldings is a bit unconventional.

We use it to place our plates on if we watch TV while eating. It took 5 hours to assemble. It came with some minor scratches and dings, but not enough to start a return. It would be nice for a rebate.

I was originally looking for Dakota Pass collection coffee table to match our cabinets. I could not find it in Canada in the Oak colour so I settled for this Carson Forge collection in Lintel Oak that is a close match, it just got a few extra trim metal and plastic parts. Putting it together, it feels like a good quality, solid product. The manual is well written and easy to follow, however, this coffee table has many parts so it took me at least three hours to put it together (I am thorough but slow ;-). The table top lifts up well, with just right tension. Overall, it is a bit smaller than I expected but we love it !

Bought this Coffee Stand/TV Stand and a desk for our Media Room. Arrived quickly and took quite a while to put them together but was worth the time because they look great together. Be careful when assembling to follow the directions exactly in order or you could create some problems and have to start over on some pages. Only complaint is that the color of the finish in person is much darker than the picture on the web site. If you want a lighter finish you might have to look elsewhere. We are satisfied with what we got but would have preferred it looking like the web picture.

Took my husband and I over 3 hrs.to assemble! Not too stressful !! I read the directions and he put it together, since I'm better at directions!🤗🤔

Looks good and is sturdy. Many steps to assemble, it took me about 3 hours and I'm a handy guy. Actual color/look of finish is darker than what's shown on Sauder's website. I called customer service and they agreed. So... overall I'm happy but disappointed in the color difference. I also find that since it's constructed from engineered wood and finish, one would think it should match exactly as advertised.

Sauder makes the best rta furniture. Fit finish great. Assembly instructions easy to follow. Just be careful putting top on with hinge.
