The first table I received, one of the legs came broken. The second one came with no issues but it is so much bigger than I thought. I can't figure out what size chair would appropriate for this table. I plan on returning it.

Love it more than I thought!

What a beautiful table. I have to say, it /is/ a little bigger than I thought, but I love it even more the way it is. I got it as a side table between a couple chairs on my patio (somewhere to sit down my coffee (etc) and make that space look less blank). I knew it would be a little larger than a side table... But it ended up being the perfect height and size for having my laptop out with me, eating a little meal (enough space for 1–2), or whatever else I want to do outside. (The scale is off a little, visually, compared to the chairs I put it with, but I don't even care because I love it.) Assembly was way easier than the instructions/box were warning about—except that you have to drop it from a fair height until it doesn't wobble? Kind of strange, but it worked great. It's packed so well that you can definitely use a box cutter to open it, even though it says not to.

It has a very nice finish to this table. I have other teak patio furniture on a covered patio that I usually rub linseed oil on at least once a year to maintain its appearance so I was expecting to have to do that to this table but the finish was so nice that I didn't have to. I got it to go between two teak rocking chairs.
