Overall when buying this camera I wasn't expecting flagship like quality. This camera has met the expectations I made for it. It has good auto focus tracking subjects and its stills are good quality too. It's very beginner friendly and explains what every setting does. I used to use the Nikon D3500, that camera is not a bad choice, but this camera has proven to be better just by the sharpness and how user friendly it is. Overall I'd highly recommend this camera to anyone starting out. It's a cheaper DSLR and it does what it was made to do.

Absolutely amazing camera (and lens), especially for the price! I bought it primarily for nature photography, and it works very well! It's wide range of settings allows for nearly all types of photography, whether high-speed or long exposure, the SL3 can capture it all! I also bought a Canon 75-300mm Lens which works well for wildlife photography. The 18-55mm lens (the lens this kit comes with) works great for macro and landscape photography.

This is a great starter camera for anyone coming in wanting to get started in photography and video. Great for my content creation needs, and it did not break the bank at all.

This is a great camera! For still photography it has all you need, including full manual. I do not shoot video. The camera is a nice size, close to a 35mm film SLR, not huge behemoths like most cameras today. This is replacing a SL1 which is still working flawlessly. Its main use is for underwater photography, for which it excels.

I really like the compact design and the great number of features built into this camera. Easy to use and a great option for a beginner.

I bought this as a gift for my 15 yo nephew. His father is into cameras and likes it. It has features that a teen can use without being too complicated. Im happy with this purchase.

You cannot charge the camera or the battery via the USB port. This makes the camera practically useless for traveling overseas in remote areas for an extended period of time as you cannot you a GoalZero or similar charger to charge the battery.

I just bought this and I love it. It was definitely worth it. Clear pictures, wonderful settings, everything to love about it. I'm having so much fun! It's lightweight and beautiful. Totally what I wanted.

This EOS SL3 was a long awaited purchase. Upon receiving it immediately it was tested and put to use. GREAT QUALITY as expected from CANON products. We have an event this weekend and will surely be using this as the newest edition our companies canon family.

A fantastic camera! I consider myself to be intermediate (definitely not a beginner or advanced) and this is the perfect camera for someone of my skill set. The Auto function is enough to take fantastic pictures and the aperture and shutter priority settings are easy to use and understand. HIGHLY recommend!

I bought this sometime ago and i absolutely love it. i also love cannon but i recommend this over the cannon EOS Rebel T7 EF-S 18-55mm IS II Kit. Although this one is about 200 dollars more, it is better quality and last longer

I wanted a camera that could vit a few basic requirements... which would be 4k video, good picture quality,and with a flip screen This camera was pretty expensive, but when I got it, I realized that it was worth every penny, because it had more features and positives than I could ever imagine. I got it, underestimating it greatly. Replacing my old PowerShot ELPH 180, (broke the lens because I am so responsible), this thing had dual pixel AF, and an extremely wide ISO range, and many more features it would take too long to list here. I thought dual pixel AF was only exclusive to the T7i in the Rebel series cameras. The 24.1 megapixels also looks very good. It honestly looks better than 24.1 megapixels. I've been wanting a DSLR for a long time, and this thing has some better qualities than an 80D.I've been a canon customer for a while, and this only encouraged me to keep on using Canon products. This would be a great camera for any situation/profession. 11/10 camera.(Sorry I wasted your time with this "essay")

I bought this camera over 5 months ago and it has served me well over the past six months ive been able to shoot suberb photographs and been able to make great looking videos as well. for all the features this camera offers and especially at the price as well. the

This is my first DSLR camera and started learning to capture few pics and learning and lot to do. Till date, as a beginner, loving the camera. It is light weight, nice display for viewing, having good battery back up, videos are coming out with nice clarity. Hopefully, Canon should have brought up24 frames similar to sl2. This would be awesome.need to use a lot and then come back will edit the review.

This camera is extremely lightweight and easy to use, and the menu and features are also easy to navigate. It’s very easy to immediately upload images using the Bluetooth feature.

Good camera for a beginner. I will have to take some tutorials to learn the camera. Very novice photographer here :)
