not enough ties, not enough length or width for standard height mattress&
Do you see in the photo on their listing where the duvet does not cover the end of the bed? That isn't some aesthetically odd photography choice. That is how the length fits. But worse, it is even shorter on the sides than how it is shown in that photo, and that's when there is not even a human under the covers. My mattress height is not taller than a standard mattress, so for this to not have an adequate coverage, is very disappointing for this price. I consistently wake up cold because if you move at all, the duvet cover is already off of you, due to the lack of width on this blanket. I do appreciate the corner tabs being made out of the fabric they are made of, because this ensures it doesn't unravel in the wash, like every other duvet cover that uses grosgrain ribbon for their corner ties. However, there are only 4 corner ties, and this is simply not enough for your blanket or duvet inside to keep its shape. They fall down in the middle on all sides because there aren't enough ties to keep it shaped to the sides. Some would be surprised to know that this doesn't come with a duvet insert, but I knew this and had thought this had good value, but I no longer agree that it holds the value of $220 (full size). I will give it credit for good stitching, good design concept of opening at 3 sides, quality zipper & zipper pulls, and for the box edge construction. But I would not buy it again nor recommend it, because it functionally does not work as it doesn't cover you in a standard height mattress.
