Description
Campo Viejo Tempranillo Red Wine is crafted from 100% premium Tempranillo and a passionate winemaking philosophy. Fresh and lively, this Spanish wine features ripe black plum and berry fruit leading to subtle vanilla notes, boasting aromatic hints of violet, lavender, vanilla, cedar and spice. It offers a long finish with lingering red fruit, vanilla and cocoa. This dry wine is made from Tempranillo grapes that are gently crushed into stainless steel vats for fermentation, and then aged in American oak barriques for 4 months to gain toasted aromas that complement the primary fruit character. Serve this dry red wine with pasta, poultry, fresh light cheeses, grilled chicken, or small bites. Add some pasión with Campo Viejo wines. Drink Responsibly.

Fantastic flavor! Let it breathe!!!! Once it has breathed properly the flavor is Fantastic! I let my bottle breathe all day and it was so worth it. If you have yet to try this kind of wine, this is such a great opportunity with the price. Honestly in my top 3 for Temprnillo

Is a good wine, not to cheap, not to expensive. You can find it a Publix, any liquor store. Id prefer other brands, but its w worth to give it a try.

Too dry and absence of notes in description
The wine improved with oxidation, however, I did not taste the hints of vanilla or spice as in the description. I bought 2 bottles and will use the 2nd one as a base for mulled wine.

Seriously, if you have never tried this wine you need to. Im already a big fan of Riojas, but this one has to be one of my favorites. The flavor is well bodied yet smooth, easy to drink and pairs well with lots of meals.

This is okay to drink, but is very strong. Campo Viejo Rioja. ... A contemporary, fruit driven style of Rioja that is very popular, and for good reason. It's the smooth velvety texture of this wine that makes it such a pleasure to drink.

My favorite full-bodied red! If you prefer dry wines, I would definitely give this a try. My wines of choice typically are Pinot Noir and Malbec so if you like these as well, Id highly recommend this Rioja.

Nice to pair with a celebratory meal! It pairs nicely with a heavier meal which is rare I find. It's not heavy on my stomach and i can sip it throughout my meal to add a nice sweet hint. It also enhances the flavors of dark meat I find if seasoned nicely.

Its an ok wine. Its affordable and its available in most places so you dont have to go to a specialized wine boutique to buy it. Its not bad but its not the best. I would recommend this if you enjoy affordable wine dont expect this to be teso la monja or something like that.
