They are fine. I expected them to be different and I don’t like them as much as I hoped I would. The color is dark brown and kind of reddish.

Exactly like pictured! It only took me 30 minutes to assemble. Only bad thing is the drawer doesn’t close 100%. I have the matching dresser for it and have the same issues. For the price I don’t mind :)

Fairly easy to put together, small but classy. Great option, especially for the price

Visually as advertised but as others have commented, the assembly instructions are poor. Because everything is symmetrical and there is no clear directionality in the pictures, it is very easy to assemble things backwards. Frustrating to say the least and does not take 20 minutes due to this. Just a bit more clarity would be immensely helpful. Don’t bother with the “video” instructions - it is literally just the booklet in PowerPoint form.

I love the set the only bad thing about the dressers is the drawers don’t open all the way so it’s hard to get stuff in and out.. the bed has a tarp thing covering the slats (instead of a box spring) and it would make noise with every movement for the first few weeks but it goes away, I love the set

Dimensions are slightly different from what we received. The open shelf area is a lot smaller than depicted in the picture.

The photo makes it look like the top opening is as tall as the drawer but it isn’t. They shouldn’t use a picture that doesn’t represent what they send you.

It looks nice, but it’s much shorter than the picture leads one to believe. The open compartment is nothing like the picture. It is much much smaller. It still looks nice, but isn’t what I ordered.

I had high hopes for the product due to the nice packaging, easy to follow instructions, and quality looking hardware, however, all of the pieces have chips on the finish especially around the edges. I purchased the dresser and 2 matching nightstands and all 3 items have these defects.

Product was packaged well. Came with excellent assembly instructions. Overall, good quality of construction and materials. You could tell a lot of time and effort was put into the total design, so the DIY person would be successful. Looks great and considered a good value. I have a small issue with the drawer not closing completely on the left side. Not perfect, but also not an issue for me. I'd buy it again and recommend it to others.

After professional assembly, the night stand drawer does not operate well. It is very tight and I have to use some amount of force to close the drawer. Not terribly impressed with the materials use to construct this piece.

It is much smaller than I expected. I measured and it still appears to be smaller than listed.

I guess you get what you pay for. Ashley really needs to work on their quality control and listing photos. I purchased 2 of these nightstands. The first was missing a very important part. See photo. Fortunately I had something I could use leftover from a recently assembled desk (not from Ashley). Both nightstands had bronze, not brass, handles. The photo clearly shows brass handles. The handles are the same color as the wood. Not a massive deal, but not what I expected. The instructions say 30 minutes to assemble, which is hilariously underestimated. The second one was definitely faster than the first, but don’t expect to install it within 30 minutes first try. The quality is what you expect for the price of this piece. So my 2 stars isn’t for that. It’s for not including enough assembly parts, the misrepresented handle (which is hollow, not solid metal), and the amount of time it took to assemble. The screw provided for the final final step appears too short but with some extra muscle and sweat it works. Just prepare to spend some time assembling and make sure you have extra parts on hand in case ashley drops the ball again and leaves something out.
