DO NOT BUY
once you buy, you have to download an 80gb update that is simply impossible to fit on any reasonable console. absolutely do not buy this game.

Modern Warfare review
Modern Warfare was not worth paying for compared to the other games I paid for . To begin with, the game was okay but then they dropped Warzone for free then Cold War came out. When Cold War came out it had a better story mode then Modern Warfare. The multiplayer has a lot of better guns and has two Black Ops 2 maps. Cold War also has a zombies mode which Modern Warfare doesn’t have. When I decided to play Modern Warfare again there were a bunch of hackers.I went to play multiplayer. In the first match there was someone one the opposing team that had Aimbot and I left the match. In the second match, there was someone under the map. I didn’t know until someone killed me and they were under the map. Gamers may say that Modern Warfare is a better game but, Cold War has a better selection of game modes on multiplayer and, Cold War also has zombies.

Avoid
Defective game. Local target doesn't have any in stock. Won't get me a replacement and wont give me my money back. Guess no more buying video games from target! Very disappointed.

I Purchased this for my father for his birthday He says it’s OK he didn’t really care for it I’m not a video game person so I’m unsure of what it actually does but I know he’s a call of duty fan he has all of the other games in the series but this one he didn’t care for

Takes a century to download
Hot garbage! This game requires a million separate installs and updates. Literally took almost a month for everything it needs to download! What were the game designers thinking when they made this. After you install the game it requires more game installs from the MS store. Game belongs in the .99 cent bin.

Not as good as the rest
We bought this game for my son, since we already have all the call of duty an halo an black ups set, he wasmt very pleased with the story play, not was he pleased with the actual game, online play wasn't the way the other games an maps he likes are, I think they should have just stopped at the last game.

Love the game so much. No trouble at all, as far for me but i don't about other players. Graphics are amazing. It feels so real life with the bullets hitting the walls,floors, etc. The guns feel real with the gun pops and not so much like black ops games because mw is more a real life. As so far that I know its a great game to play. The files take up so much memory but its okay because I really don't like other games, so if you play other games that take up a bunch of memory I would buy the game.

it's great ! When it works.... microphones go in and out, random black screens that kick you from the game you're in. Online play is an absolute mess, and from the money they make off of it, it should never be an issue. Updates are HUGE files that take up a ton of memory. Just a horrible setup. Go back to the old way of doing things, this clearly isn't working.

High skill gap, though it is great
With the Warzone addition, it adds such a great feel to the game. Warzone is literally multiplayer in a BR setting. If you easily rage and can't handle fast, high-action packed, competitive feel that most CoD games have, don't get it, just play the free warzone.

This game is unbalanced and it’s not that good I thought it was gonna be the best cod but apparently it’s not. I was playing and got 3 hit markers on a person with a sniper this game trash. Highly recommend to not get this game unless you want to go to angry management it causes stress. I’d rather play fortnite or apex.

MW FTW
This brings me back to the MW2 days! Though MW2 will always be better. The mechanics are nearly the same. I really have how spec op missions have to be done online... unless I’m missing something. I liked being able to complete missions alone (sometimes I just like playing alone!). Graphics could be better, but I guess i can’t expect pc quality graphics on a first gen Xbox one. LOVE THE GAME! Story is kind of short, but incredible and online gives you hours more!

Excellent game, just be wary if you're playing it on an xbox one x, it has some launch issues that make the one x console crash.
