A: Hi there! Coffee inherently contains carbohydrates, and a small amount of protein; each of which contributes to the Caloric value. This is why it has its characteristic color and taste (and isn't water). There are enough of these to require labeling on a nutrition facts panel. Carbohydrates and protein contribute calories, which is why coffee has more than zero.

Q: I bought this because it said 3mg of potassium. I have stage 4 kidney disease and have to watch my intake. The other day I went to purchase again and the bottle said 403mg of potassium. Is one of them a misprint? I need to know. It's a huge difference.

Taste like old burned out coffee from the bottom of a pot
When the market was out of my local favorite brand and any others I had previously tried instead, i bought this brand. I was stocking up for my family prior to my surgery, so I bought 8 bottles. I figured coffee was coffee, so how bad could it be? It was awful. I found the first bottle empty in my recycling bin. I figured others in my house drank it. I opened the second bottle and took two sips and had to spit it out. My son also poured himself some and had to spit it out. We unanimously agree. This was the worst coffee we'd ever tasted, including any coffee.I had made at home and accidentally burned. I had my son take the remaining bottles back to our local market for a full return. Would never buy again. I wish I could give it negative stars.

Upsetting
I usually purchase Stok unsweetened dark/medium cold brew. One week it was out so I gave this product a go, and was highly disappointed. There is something I find odd about the flavor and not appealing to my tastebuds. In an attempt to not waste the coffee, I even tried mixing with the Stok product I get but to no avail. I truly hate wasting food, but I was not able to finish this bottle after only two glasses of coffee.

Disgusting
This is so gross. I assumed it would taste like any other cold brew so I bought two bottles. I thought something was wrong with the first bottle so I tried the second one and same disgusting taste. I tried different creamers to make it tolerable but no—ultimately it was gross enough that I dumped both bottles and wasted money. Is it the “notes of apple” that make it taste so bad? I don’t know, but ew.

Strangest tasting coffee I've ever had
Normally love Califia products, their almond and oat milks are actually my favorite store bought milks you can buy. You can imagine my shock expecting this cold brew coffee to become another favorite to being one of the WORST tasting things I’ve ever tasted. What is going on here, Califia?? I don’t even know how to describe how horrible it tastes. It doesn’t take like anything a human should be consuming and has me a little concerned…is it a bad batch? Is it mold? Is it chemicals intermixed into the coffee? Something is NOT right…I am one to be able to finish food and beverages I don’t like, I legitimately cannot drink this without shuddering and spitting it out.

Worst brand I have ever tasted. I usually buy the stok brand in the unsweetened and bold blue container, but they were out so I bought this. Worst mistake ever, I tried everything to make this taste better but it’s like sour water, there’s no coffee taste at all. I poured the whole bottle out. Waste of money.
