When I need to wake up on the go, a cup of Bustelo from the fridge and some milk, and I’m out the door. It’s strong, has great taste, no bitterness or unpleasant aftertaste. I prefer my coffee with a creamer or milk and it still is strong and great. It’s perfect for hot summer days on top of ice, or warm it with hot frothed milk. It’s a perfect cup for everyone and most people will enjoy the taste. 5 out of 5 for a prepped coffee.

Too strong
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My honest opinion of this Cafe Bustelo Cafe Estilo Espresso Style Coffee in unsweetened is that it tastes terrible. I do not like the flavor, even when I sweeten it and add flavoring with creamer. The flavor and after taste of the espresso is beyond too strong for me. I think I will stick with brewing the coffee myself.

Depending on my preference that day I add ice cubes and make it an iced coffee or heat it up and make it hot. It’s rare to find a bottled espresso that isn’t overly acidic or bitter, but Café Bustelo managed to create a perfectly balanced taste without excessive foam. With 270 mg of caffeine per 12 fl oz, it certainly doesn’t lack power. I usually enjoy my coffee black, but this pairs even better with a splash of creamer. Since it’s espresso-style and on the stronger side, I typically pour about 6 fl oz for my caffeine fix and dilute it with milk or water—it tastes incredible. You won’t find a better value for caffeine and delicious espresso-style coffee. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed Café Bustelo and will definitely be repurchasing to make more great coffees.

Strong, Flavorful, and Very Convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed. The first thing you noticed is the strong coffee aroma. It smells bold and rich right out of the bottle, which already sets expectations high. The taste definitely matches the smell. It is strong, smooth, and very coffee forward, which I personally liked a lot. Since it is unsweetened, the flavor is intense, but not bitter in a bad way. It is actually pretty good on its own as black coffee, but adding a little creamer made it even better. It mixed extremely well with creamer and had no separation issues or a weird texture. The espresso dissolves and blends easily, which makes it super convenient for quick drinks. The ingredients are simple and straightforward, which I appreciate. There’s no overpowering artificial taste, and the aftertaste is clean with a lingering coffee flavor rather than anything sour or burnt. Preparation is also very easy. You can pour and drink right away or customize it however you want, hot or cold. Storage was not an issue either. I kept mine in the fridge for about two weeks with no change in taste or quality.

Smooth and Convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time trying espresso style coffee. It was fragrant and strong. Which I wasn’t expecting. This is handy to have if you are in a rush or don’t want to wait for your espresso to come. Sometimes I’m in a rush so this was nice to have. You can drink it as is or customize it with milk, sweeteners, or foams. I personally added brown sugar and milk to mine. This is smooth and it didn’t taste too bitter. I was worried the taste wouldn’t be good but it’s not bad. I do still prefer fresh brewed coffee but the price of pods and coffee beans is also expensive. It is priced fairly and the size is big! I was really surprised to see the bottle since I was used to brands making smaller products nowadays. The packaging is eye catching but it’s hard to pour. I ended up spilling some of it when I was pouring some into my cup. The other downside to this is that you need to consume this within seven days after opening it. Other than that, this a convenient espresso style coffee to have in your fridge.
