Burley Cub X Kids' Bike Trailer

Out of the many kid products available this is by far one we have used the most! I wanted a double stroller for walks that our girls can sit together in, without being segregated to an individual seat like the Bob for example. The handle bar is very comfortable. The overall construction is very well done and I feel like I’m a walking advertisement for Burley. People are constantly asking me about the stroller. It is amazing!! A few design features I think could be improved: The front mesh/plastic shield doesn’t easily latch on the bottom of the stroller. It would be a lot easier if there was Velcro or a better strap at the bottom to connect it. It’s about 50 lbs and awkward to load in a vehicle. I wish there was a handle bar or something besides a smooth hard bottom to grab onto when loading in a vehicle. The recline feature wasn’t as I expected. In our Chicco stroller there is a little latch and it makes recline very easy. I wish it was easier to make the seats recline. I love the baby insert. Very secure for our newborn and she loves it. If it was a bit shorter that would be helpful as she is 24” long and her feet stick out past the edge of the frame on the stroller. So when the cover is down her feet are touching. I also wish the back compartment (behind the seats) was easier to get into. So I didn’t have to shove the diaper bag down (it fits just is hard to get in/out). Just a few design elements I feel could be perfected as the rest of the stroller is amazing! Truly great. Our girls have so much fun in it. It is motivating to take them for walks. They are warm and cozy and have room for books toys snacks (the side pouches inside are very helpful!). Our 2 year old is able to climb in and out by herself. The brake is easy to use. The swivel wheel is essential and works on gravel. I wish the jogger attachment swiveled but the standard wheel it comes with works fine. We love it! Highly recommend!

This was our first Burley purchase. I wish we had purchased one for our older children. The Cub X is spacious for our little one with lots of room to grow. Easy to attach and lightweight - overall a great product.

We use our Burley trailer every day in NYC, taking the kids all around town. Museums, parks, even just going to school sometimes. We commute with our bikes, so it's very convenient to be able to easily attach and detach the trailer, fold it up and leave it at their school, or use it as a stroller inside a grocery store. We recently upgraded from the Bee to the CubX give my growing kids a little more wiggle room in the trailer (those 2 extra inches per kid really matter!). We chose the CubX over the D'Lite because of the rigid plastic base, which makes it much easier for my little one to climb in and out. Our one complaint is the bar in the middle of the storage compartment, which the Bee did not have. This really divides the storage compartment in two, and makes it impossible to put in full-width items, and pretty hard to even get the kids backpacks in (you really have to jam them past the bar). Wish that wasn't there!

I purchased this product to take my granddaughter on rides. The design for safety and comfort are second to nothing I've experienced before (used to trailer my 2 daughters when I trained for college football nearly 30 years ago). It is a GREAT product and I love the quality and versatility of it. There is very little I would improve, and those items are very minor (more seat adjustability and better tethering of the windshields when rolled up).

Picked this up during black Friday Sale. I had considered starting with a cheaper one, but after seeing lots of reviews and comments, decided to pull the trigger. Boy am I happy I did. This thing is built like a tank. The hard bottom is fantastic for any potential obstacles and I also did not want to worry about a sagging trailer floor. Plenty of space for my 4 and 5 year olds with trunk space to boot. The independently reclining seats is fantastic as both my kids prefer a different sitting position. It tracks incredibly straight, it rides incredibly smooth. That suspension definitely works and helps smooth out the ride for the little ones. It's attractive looking and we purchased the stroller wheels kit for those days at Sea World. Worth every penny!

This thing is an absolute dream. I’ve had cheaper trailers in the past where the bottom canvas starts to sag from use, so knew we wanted the plastic tub bottom. This thing is built like a tank, beautiful design, very sturdy and glides with ease. It’s easy to forget it’s there sometimes! Great build equality and lots of features. So glad we invested the money on this top of the line trailer! My child absolutely loves it.

great unit. my unit had the left wheel not running straight when attached to the cart, runs a little wobly.

Overall love out new cub x. I wish there was a way to make more helmet room or a tiny bit more recline. When my son falls asleep while on longer trips his head and neck always end up in terrible positions.

Exactly as described. Very sturdy build. Holds up well on manicured bike trails.

Absolutely love it. I use it every to run with my two little ones. It’s comfortable for them and sometime they even fall asleep thanks to the reclining seats.

My husband and I are now enjoying rides with our one year old! It's so nice to get outside with our little one, and the Burley Cub X just makes it better!
