A: The Floor Seat is not a one-size-fits-all seat. The recommended age is 3-12 months, but it will vary depending on the child's development. It is hard to predict how each individual child will fit because the seat places the child farther down than a normal seat, in order to help them learn how to sit with the proper support. This places the openings closer to their knees than their thighs usually, but can differ depending on their height and weight. As your son is at the beginning of the age range, we recommend letting his legs get a little longer and trying the seat again in a few weeks. It is ok for the leg openings to be a snug fit, as long as your child is comfortable in the seat.
