Q: Can this bucket handle boiling water

A: Do NOT tell a customer it can hold boiling water. She will have 2nd or 3rd degree burns on her legs if she is in shorts or capris! Law suit! Water spills everywhere when you lift it by its handle!

Q: Why do you keep this product on the shelf? It does not function as a bucket, as soon as you lift it up it spills. Don't tell me to fill it more I tried that the elongated design makes it unstable.

A: Poor engineer design. I got this bc of the wide opening bucket. BUT The WORST bucket ever designed. When you pick it up even half full of water the whole thing dumps. Yes I got a flooded floor now. Biggest mistake don’t buy !!!

A: It seems this bucket was nevefr actually tested by someone putting in some water and trying to carry it by the handle. It's useless, yet Target keeps selling it!

I bought this bucket in store without reading the reviews. It was next to the mops so I assumed it was a mop bucket. The design does NOT allow for you to carry water with just the handle without overturning, you have to support the bucket underneath or grab the front. I ended up using it for storage.

Don’t buy this bucket. Its like a teeter- totter. When lifting or carrying it, the bucket shifts from side to side, like a teeter-totter.. the sides shift up and down as the water moves from side to side.

I love this bucket! So glad that I purchased it despite many bad reviews. For people who use a bucket for multiple purposes, such as cleaning clothes in it or washing something etc.. this is a perfect one. easy to use due to its design and size and fit your utility sink nicely. If you fill the water half way, the handle works fine, not spilling water. So it could be useful for mopping since the opening is very wide. Glad I purchased it.

DO NOT BUY THIS BUCKET!!
This bucket should be illegal. This bucket suffers from a significant design flaw that compromises its basic functionality. The bucket's structural geometry results in an unstable center of gravity, which requires the container to be filled to a minimum of 50% capacity before it can be lifted without immediately tipping. Furthermore, the act of filling is cumbersome, as the bucket must be placed on a level surface to prevent the contents from shifting and causing an imbalance during the filling process. When carrying the bucket, any minor shift in the liquid's mass will abruptly destabilize the vessel, inevitably leading to spillage of its entire contents. The fundamental lack of stability renders this product unsuitable for its intended purpose.

Was this clanker-designed?
Why even add a handle? This product was acceptable until the handle deceived customers. Pro tip: 5 gal buckets (most handled buckets, really) are longer than wide so they don’t do this, maybe next time take a few inspirations from an aeons old understanding of physics.

Terrible shape! Water slops right out!
Terrible shape for folding water. Can’t pick up a full bucket by the handle or the water slops right out. The oval shape with the handle in the middle (skinniest part) means that when full of water if you pick it up the water slops from side to side and pours right out. Horrible design.

Terrible product- scam at this point.
Why is this still for sale? I bought over a year ago and was sure they would pull from the shelves for poor quality. Water spills everywhere. Handle is worthless. At this point it’s theft to still be taking people’s money.
