A: Yes, the Artspira App can be used to draw embroidery patterns on a mobile device and then transfer them to the SE700 wirelessly. A USB cable can be used to transfer designs from a Mac to the SE700.

Q: I read a comment where it mentioned MAC software not being able to work with the machine, I was wondering if they met transferring embroidery files from a USB from the MAC to the machine is achievable

A: That's true. The software that allows direct communication between the machine and your Mac is only PC compatible. However, you can use a flash drive to transfer designs that you have created or purchased. Their new software is compatible with iPhone and iPad but its free version is very limited in my opinion.

Great machine for beginners. If I had one wish is that for the money invested it could have allowed for a larger 5 x 7 frame. I say beginner because you are limited with a 4 x 4

Great machine for beginners. Handbook is useful as well as information actually on the machine. The USB drive doesn't always read the USB memory stick the first try so I've had to remove and replace but otherwise, no complaints

Perfect for earnest beginners
Just right for beginner, the SE700 has let me learn how to assemble embroidery projects, choose onboard patterns, change thread, upload from the Artspira app, and customize images. I am happy that this small investment - compared to pricey machines - has been such a wealth of experience.

I like this machine, but like everything, it’s not perfect. Wish area you can embroider was a little larger. The directions are a little confusing and it can get stressful. The designs do come out really nice.

Embroidery difficult
As far as a sewing machine I have used it many times. For embroidery I need a tutorial, a CD a site, something I can watch and learn to use the embroidery! I need like option to work before Christmas. I am lost……

Love, love, love this machine!! It is my first time using an embroidery machine and I am hooked. It is an easy to use machine filled with lots of pre-loaded images and fonts. Even if you are new to sewing, you will soon be obsessed with the SE700.

Excellent Machine for all around small embroidery projects or any sewing projects. You can do large embroidery projects once you are experienced with how to move the design within the hoop. Previously owned Baby Lock and this machine performs just as well for less money!
