Not good at all
I bought this toner about a month and a half ago and have printed only around 500 pages, and it’s already showing as empty. This is absolutely ridiculous! A toner should last much longer than this. I feel completely ripped off — what kind of low-quality product are you selling?

Reliable workhorse toner
We use the black and white Brother printer for day to day printing for records, receipts and documents. It never fails us—and this toner has produced crisp dark text and designs for over 2 years. No problem in not using the printer for months—when we are busy it is always ready.

poor performance
Both TN 730 and TN 760 don't yield the expected number of pages printed. they probably give you 50% of what Brother claims. I always print with toner saving features and in Draft format or 300dpi. it is a good product but do not expect those many pages.

Disappointing performance!
We have been using the same Brother printer for several years and have no issues with the machine's performance. We normally use the TN-760 cartridges. This time we ordered a TN730. It has been installed for 9 days and is already giving a low toner indication. We understand that how much toner is used per page determines how many pages it will print, but this is unacceptable for the amount of money charged. There's not near enough toner in the cartridge to justify the cost.

We understand your Brother TN730 cartridge did not last long. We'd like to help. The stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge. The amount of pages it says it will print is not accurate. But I guess serious overestimates of page rates is par for the course with computer ink sales. Hard not to feel ripped off though.

False Advertising - Thieves
I bought this machine - Brand new and dont think even 300 pages were printed . I'm getting Toner low message. No where near as advertised. I used my inkjet and it lasted almost a year with similar work. This is exactly the same as all other users have complained. I cant believe this is happenning in 2024 . These people should be sued - as a class action !

Not reliable
This cartridge came with the printer from the store. Paperwork claims it can print 1,200 pages. 30 pages in, an alert came through that the toner was low. I ignored this and went for about 10 more pages, then the printer stopped, with an alert that the toner was out. I did an override on this, knowing that was nonsense. The print quality diminished, so I went into the settings and turned off eco mode, made sure it was set to print text, and set it at 600 dpi. I am mostly printing text, after all. I've gotten maybe 300 pages through it, but the quality is so poor and the printer status still says that it is out of toner.

Please be advised the Brother Printers when first purcahse they come with a Starter Toner that yeild approx. 700 pages. Genuine Brother toner cartridges are produced with a specific amount of toner to yield the following: TN Starter Toner - approx. 700 pages TN730 Standard Toner - approx. 1,200 pages* TN760 High Yield Toner - approx. 3,000 pages* TN770 Super High Yield Toner - approx. 4,500 pages* *The approximate toner yield is in accordance with ISO/IEC 19752. The number of pages that can be printed with a toner cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). It's important to remember that a typical printed document is one letter-size (8.5" x 11") page with 4% - 5% print coverage. Worked briefly. Then stopped early in toner life
This toner worked for a while. Then we got a printer jam. I removed the cartridge while fixing the jam. When I put it back in, the printer stopped working saying that the cartridge isn't a legitimate Brother toner cartridge. I bought it new and it is in fact from Brother. It's just really frustrating.

Wrong Cartridge selected by printer software
Brother software running on my computer incorrectly led to 730 toner, when I actually needed 850. I had opened the package before realizing it wouldn't fit. Brother gave me a lot of pushback about returning it for credit, but finally relented. Reason for replacing Brother cartridge prematurely was that it was leaking messy black powder onto printing. Third-party cartridge was much less expensive, less than half the cost, and is working great.
